El Puerto Mexican Restaurant

I visit this place around once a month or more. I appreciate it a great deal. The service is always great,the staff is very friendly, and the food is really good. If you like Chile Verde its definitely good here. It's a very comfortable place to be and my favorite restaurant in town.

Yes, stop in. Great people and food. The three of us are traveling. Grandma, grandpa and adult grandson. The choices are quite varied. We were lucky it was a Monday and the restaurants closer to our hotel were closed so we ventured in to this place. The number of people getting take home was impressive - good sign to travelers on the quality. Recommend

Very good Mexican food with great service. El Yucateca hot sauce was just shy of tears hot: it's a rare treat to find sauce that hot in a restaurant.

We came through to eat after the eclipse. I've seen less busy restaurants give far worse service than these guys. They were straight hustling and were fantastic. Drinks were kept full, staff literally running almost but so on point. You guys are a gem and hope to come across them again one day. Thank you!!

My wife and I went for lunch on Saturday. We were seated and a minute later chips and salsa were on out table. The food was good and the service was great. I've been there before and the service is always great.

Well, that was fantastic. The chicken fajita burrito had that savory / umami flavor, and yes I finished the rest of the rice and beans & chips, and I opted for the cheese sauce. The chips were thin and fresh, and I'll put up with a little breakage when scooping the beans and rice. The service was super quick and efficient, checking on me enough but not too much. Thanks for a great, fast lunch !!!

Service was spectacular. Food was delicious. The place was clean. We had 11 in our group and they kept our drinks, chips & really good salsa bowls filled. And they were packed. So glad we stopped here after a day of sxs trail riding.

You HAVE to bring someone here on their birthday--its awesome! We were seated almost immediately and the service was great. Friendly staff. Food was sent out quickly and was hot and fresh. I highly recommend this Jack Special. Their salsa is the best! Everything was good except the French fries, none of the kids would eat them so I tried one--they were mushy and soggy. But, the fajitas are so good!

No Horchata was kinda disappointing!! But overall friendly, food was good and the price was AMAZING!!!!

This place is an exceptional value. We were passing through this town and got hungry just at the right time as we saw this restaurant and decided to turn in and give it a try. We sure are glad we did. They had great lunch specials and the portions were just right. The prices were very reasonable. Service was very good as well. The restrooms were very clean and well maintain. This was good decision on our part to make this stop and if we are ever paying through this area again, we will make this stop again.

Delicious food, the best hard shell tacos I've ever had, and extremely friendly service! This isn't even remotely comparable to Taco Bell...

6-19-22 holding here for dinner. I got the Jack special. That is fajita steak wrapped up in a large flour tortilla and covered in cheese sauce and chili sauce. It was very good.

Stuffed mixed burrito. So tasty with friend jalapeños in it. Ate for 15 bucks and got full. Excellent service to, my waiter was polite and checked on me every 4 or 5 minutes.

Stopped here on a whim while in town. On the recommendation of the waiter, I got the Emily. Because I don't eat a whole lot, I got half an order. Perfect size. Food was delicious. Absolutely. Hubs had enchiladas and said they were delicious. Salsa was.... meh... but everything else was amazing.

Highly recommend.

Perhaps the best Mexican food that I've ever had in my life... No kidding!
