Verdi's American Bistro

Extremely Wonderful + Nostalgic Experience. My father was an amazing independent restauranteur and I grew up dining at the best independent restaurants in my area. I’ll never forget what it was like to see that sense of pride owners and chefs would have in their restaurant. True artistry, craftsmanship and love for one’s craft.

Tonight my wife and I dined at Verdi while on vacation with our family. It was a rare night out for us and immediately upon entering (we showed up 15 min before they open but they let us in early) we felt the graciousness and sense of wanting us to be there. We were lucky enough to have Michele as our server and she was just amazing. The level of caring and service she provided was simply wonderful. She brought out 3 samples of wine for me to try and it felt like a wine flight! We ended up ordering the following:

Warm Brie appetizer - amazing
Prince Edward mussels- amazing
Beet salad - amazing
Vegetable pasta for my wife - delicious!
Chilean sea bass - good
Banana’s foster dessert- STAR of the meal!!!

All and all, everything about this restaurant reminded me of my childhood growing up in wonderful independent restaurants. From the choices of decor, to stunning glassware and unique plates, you can absolutely see the level of thought the owners have put into their business.

The BEST RESTAURANT on Marco Island 🌴 The food and the service is outstanding and the owner event is such a total gentleman and so attentive. Love this restaurant it is amazing, do yourself a favor and make sure you treat yourself to this place many many times. 5+ stars

Quite, cozy and clean restaurant.

Service was excellent. Diego did a fabulous job and very attentive to the table.

Food was excellent and presented as in a 5 star restaurant. Bread pudding was out of this world.

Parking was very easy out front.

Prices were in line for the island.

Best sea bass I have ever had and the 3 other members at the table said their food was the best meal they have ever had. Dessert was awesome too.

One of the best restaurants on Marco Island, period. It is my to go restaurant with my family when we come annually to Marco Island.

You won’t go wrong with ordering anything from the menu since most of their dishes are exceptional. However, I will recommend the Grilled New Zealand Rack of Lamb and also their Duck plate.

The service is great, servers on point, and owner/managers evert friendly with customers and makes you feel welcome.

An amazing culinary experience! Must try! From the front of house to the pulse in the kitchen Verdi's will not disappoint. Octopus was one of the best... perfectly charred and elegantly seasoned...soooo tender. Sea Bass was fresh + paired delightfully with spinach and potatoes with light ponzu sauce. Filet Migon is so tender ...cooked precisely. Dessert is Home Made foodies! We tried the bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream and bourbon/whiskey sauce... amazing.

Great service, good food. Very small, but cozy place for a nice dinner. They only have wine, so no cocktails. If you like seafood, try the triple tail fish, it was delicious.

My wife and I visited for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our server James was excellent and helped us narrow our selections based on our likes. We enjoyed the beet salad, French onion soup, shrimp appetizer and the Verdi Grouper. All were very good. The bourbon whiskey bread pudding with ice cream was wonderful. We'll definitely come back again.

Excellent Restaurant on Marco Island.
Everything is wonderful, except for the air conditioning. James our server was amazing. Will definitely go back again next year when we go back to Marco Island.

Amazing food! The jumbo shrimp and diver scallops were delicious. The flourless chocolate cake was truly unbelievable for dessert, the bread pudding was excellent as well. I would definitely go back.

Had a large party dine at Verdi’s. The owner was very welcoming, the environment clean, service was friendly & fast. Could not say enough about the food it was extremely delicious! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a more upscale dining experience. You will want to have a reservation as the restaurant fills up fast!

Absolutely amazing food is delicious and delivered quickly, nice secluded restaurant for peaceful dining, and the restaurants itself is designed exquisitely.

A great find. The food was exceptional. The service was good and the prices were very fair. We will definitely be back. We are very grateful to the Verdi's team for being open on Christmas.

Not sure what others are talking about with poor reviews. The grouper and meatloaf were delicious, my kids had the homemade mac-n-cheese and it was great! We had a side of the risotto and their clam chowder was the best we have ever had! Peanut butter cheesecake was beyond amazing to top off a great meal! Our server, Michelle, was by far the nicest server we have ever had! She drew pictures for my kids to color and showed them the kitchen which made their night! They have fantastic meals and are also accommodating to kids--the cloth tablecloths are covered with white paper they can draw on with provided crayons! Don't hesitate, eat at Verdi's!

Eat there every year when in Marco. While the food I had was good, I would expect it to be better for the price.
