One Church

My family brought me to One Church and it was an incredible experience! The people are so friendly and welcoming, truly embracing a family-oriented atmosphere. Their open and inclusive approach made me feel right at home. I highly recommend One Church to anyone looking for a welcoming and supportive spiritual community!

I’ve been a part of many Churches over the years, but none have become family like One Church! Firstly, Pastor Nick is a fantastic leader who is very intentional and passionate in his sermons each week, preaching directly from the Bible and goes deep, not shying away from what the Word actually says. It is not surface level teachings to try and entertain people from stage for the sake of keeping people coming back, but rather a rich theological unraveling of the Bible verse by verse. My faith has been strengthened through the leadership and circle groups (small groups) the Church has. The men have stretched me to go deeper with God, encouraged & discipled me along the way.
The members of this Church have become my family and best friends over the years. It is a place I really look forward to being each Sunday & I can confidently say that all members of the congregation love to welcome new faces each week, no matter if you are struggling to find a Church home, are just trying to figure out what Christianity is all about or if you are mature in the faith and have been following Christ for decades. Come worship with us, we would love to meet you!

This is one of the best Churches I have ever been to. Nick, the Pastor, is on fire! His teachings are powerful and touch the heart. The worship music is beautiful. People are friendly & welcoming. There are also small groups & activities & teen fellowship. I am so grateful for this Church.

I was living in a Christian sober house because I lost my place to live because it flooded during hurricane Ian.
Pastors Jason and sometimes Nick come and do a Bible study on Fridays and they invite the guys there to church and to my surprise they treated us like equals.
Keep in mind that while I don’t have any issues myself in terms of alcohol or drug addiction many of the guys I lived with were from off the streets and even prison and that doesn’t bother them.
In my 30 years as a Christian I’ve never felt this at home with a group of people who genuinely care about me as I try to rebuild my life.
I’m not just getting a church family but I’m becoming friends with the pastors and others in the church.
One church is full Gospel meaning they believe in and move in the gifts of the Spirit but their emphasis is on Jesus and not the gifts of the Spirit or prosperity.
While they move in the Spirit they are very balanced and very grounded and the pastoral team genuinely serve the people instead of always focusing on what they can get you to do.
They ofc always try to be sensitive to the Spirit and allow it to flow.
To me, it seems the only people that won’t feel at home here are either very religious or looking for a superficial experience rather than a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ and other believers.
Many churches will roll out the red carpet for you when you’re coming in the door but the moment you get settled it’s all about them and what they need and what you do for them.
Those should be huge red flags to anyone looking for a genuine relationship with Jesus.
There’s no pressure here.
They will genuinely love you as you grow in Grace

Wonderful church, wonderful people!! My husband and I tried somewhere around 4-6 churches in the area before finding One Church and making it our church home. Other churches we attended weren’t very personable and did not go out of their way to make us feel welcome. One of our criteria in a church is that we want a church family, not just a program to sit through. At One Church we were greeted but not overwhelmed. The pastor delivered an awesome message, the worship was fantastic, and we quickly made friends in the church with people that genuinely wanted to get to know us. One church currently meets at Atlantic High School but don’t let the place of meeting detour you, you will not find a better group of God loving people! Church is not a set of walls, it is the people within the walls.

One church has become my family, what a place to be in one with the body of Christ. Pastor Nick is more than a pastor is the kind of men that you want in your side in the frontline in this journey call ( The way) love you champ and all the family of One church Port orange from the Calderon family.

God led me to One Church! Recently, I moved to the Port Orange area from NJ without any family or friends; I prayed God would connect me to a local supportive church family & he answered me quickly. So many churches in the area but I was led to this church right behind my new home! The moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by everyone there. So many smiling faces greeted me and I was impressed by the message from Pastor Nick as well as the healing that took place during my 1st encounter there. The women’s retreat was an amazing experience for me within 1 month of going as I was able to connect with all the ladies. These same ladies also recently threw me a beautiful baby shower. The kids church has been amazing for my 5 year old as she is learning so much each week. I am blown away by all the love & support this church has offered me & my growing family. I strongly recommend this church for anyone who wants to connect with community, those who want to learn straight from Gods word, & do the work of Christ! I love ONE church; we can’t wait to meet you here😊

I went to visit this church for the first time this past Sunday. It's very down to earth, humble and the people very warm and giving. You feel the presence of God. The teaching is right from the Bible. Everybody is very welcoming. There's a peace you feel when you visit. I'm looking forward to this Sunday! Everyone should give this church a chance and visit!

If you want to know what fellowship will be like in Heaven then look no further. The fellowship with the Saints is unlike anything else I have found in my lifetime. The Love is so strong it makes you want to come early and stay late. Pastor Nick embodies what a man of God should be. The teachings come directly from the Word of God. This is a soul saving Church environment that has increased my spirit each week.

The first time I walked into this church, I was immediately impressed with the lack of pretention. I've moved around a lot in the last decade, and I've done a lot of church shopping. The one thing I can tell you about One Church is this: What you see is what you get. The leadership are real and genuine people. They actually care about you. Maybe this should be assumed in that we are talking about Christ's body here on earth. In any case, you should check out One Church.

We moved to the New Smyrna/Port Orange area recently and wanted to find a new church home. We were seeking out a church that saw church as a family, preached the word of God, valued the Holy Spirit, and loved on their surrounding community. We found all of that and more in One Church. We had a list of churches we wanted to “try” but never made it past #1 because we immediately felt like One Church was home from the first time we came. That feeling hasn’t changed since, we’ve only continued to value and appreciate the church and family that is One Church Port Orange.

If you want to grow in close to Jesus and learning about the Bible. You will learn the Full counsel of God through wonderful expository teaching verse by verse by Pastor Nick. Pulling it apart in biblical time and how it relates to us today in our world. A sweet friendly church family. A place you can grow and be cared for.

One Church Port Orange embodies everything our family was searching for and has become family. With their "come as your are" vibe, you too will feel like family the moment you are welcomed at the door. There is no denying the love and senserity that is felt throughout the entire congregation. Alongside that, Pastor Nick is a man of God who truly lives to serve the Lord, so come grow with us!

I genuinely could not have asked for a better church. They are a truly outstanding group of people. Pastor Nick brings an incredible amount of life to your Sunday morning with a message that is reliably uplifting and relevant. I can honestly say, in my own experience, I feel a void when I miss this service-something I had never experienced before. One Church feels like a small family group; you can feel the love when you step through the doors. I wouldn't look at any other church before coming here, I promise you won't regret it!

Pastor Nick is a true light!! He has a gift for teaching the word and has a true testimony himself. If you ever get a chance to converse with him, do. You will learn something every time! This man carries his Bible with him everywhere, just in case someone needs to hear the good news! This church is a representation of all the love that God has to give, through every person who preaches within it. Great job One Church!

What really drew me to One Church originally, was the fact they were conducting their service outdoors in the City Center amphitheater one Sunday and being a bit of an outdoors type of person I finished my "morning walk" homeward and returned to see if they had the kind of preaching I was looking for; the kind that comes from the B-I-B-L-E. That's it. They had it, so unfortunately, they are stuck with me because I have not been let down in the past three or four years. The other Christian attendees are wonderful (I'm still learning their names - short term memory), the PRAISE WORSHIP is wonderful, the snacks look great, but I prefer to sing and digestive juices kinda interfere with my already craggly voice; and yes, they have coffee. If you come, when you come and you end up near me and my worship voice grates on your senses, just sing louder than me. God will love it. He has perfect hearing, and will hear your heart. So, enough about me. You will certainly fit right in, in place of that empty seat we have been setting out for you. Bring all your foibles, imperfections, disabilities, wants and desires. We don't necessarily have the solutions for them, But God Does and His Word is preached here. So let go and let God grow a beautiful relationship with His Son, His Spirit and His Almighty Self in your heart along with the rest of us. See you Sunday.

My husband and I have been a part of this community since we were in college. Nick (the pastor) married us and we’ve been coming back to this Christ filled community for years. We have held long lasting friendships from our time at One Church that we know will last a life time. Everyone here is so friendly. It’s a great place to worship and become a part of a caring community. They also have day care for the little ones on Sunday mornings which is super helpful now that we have our own tiny human!

I have lived in the Port Orange area for about a year. It would be difficult to find a church that feels more like home than OCPO. Pastor Nick is a truly gifted and anointed speaker, and he brings the truth of the Word every Sunday. This church wants you to grow and ask the hard questions, while helping you to learn how you can best serve The Kingdom with the gifts He has given you.
