L.J. DEPOT DINER

Food was good, especially the fries. Service was good. Price was good. Decor was cool. Lots of safety services and train pictures and other dedications. Food came out quick and hot (were not busy). Will stop by again when we are in the area.

I am teaching my daughter how to drive, so we made a road trip through back roads to this diner from Louisville. We ordered a western omelet, Philly cheese steak, and fries. The food was great; the service was great. It was worth the trip.

Heading south on I-65 we found this hometown diner on google and decided to check it out. ~~~ Walking into L. J. Depot Diner was like taking a step into the past, when people weren’t in such a hurry and took the time to visit. The food was good, but the service and people were great!

The decor has a railroad theme, in honor to the town’s history. They also honor those who serve to protect the community.

We plan to return when we’re in the area. I recommend you stop by and experience the small town hospitality and homemade cooking.

i love this place this is one of the best home town spot on the planet it is the best definitely would go here and service was so good i think this place is better than any other restaurant ever.

We eat here about twice a month. Great food , servers and workers are always super. fried Bologna is great and super thick cut. Breakfast on Thursday (all day and night )and Sunday morning is better than momma made..

My family and I stopped here on our way up to Ohio. Traffic was getting really bad because of the interstate construction and this diner was the first food stop we came to. It did not disappoint. The service was quick and attentive. Our food came out piping hot. My and my son's burgers were huge and delicious. I had a double jalapeno cheese burger with bacon and my son just had a cheese burger. My daughter had the chicken tenders and my wife had the BLT. Everything was incredible. The staff was helpful and gave space to enjoy our meal while still making sure we were doing alright and that our drinks were filled. We all shared a cookies and cream milk shake at the end which was just perfect. All in all, this is a great place to stop and enjoy a meal. I wish we had been earlier to enjoy their all you can eat breakfast option!

This is my new family... food amazing and the staff...which I feel so bad saying staff because we are seriously family now. My heart was so full in this small town and the home cooking was of another world and time... amazing!

Visiting my husband's family who lives here and came here for the breakfast. I got the western omelette without jalapeños. I usually put salsa on my eggs but honestly that would have ruined it. Best omelette I've ever had the eggs weren't to done nice and gooey and warm and cheesy. YUM. There wasn't alot of people there so it was nice and quiet, the service was fast and friendly also. Highly recommend.

This a a quaint and charming little cafe. Hamburgers, onions rings were just like mama use to make, food arrived at table hot and delicious. Mary did a wonderful job making sure everything was perfect. Loved the whole experience. Can't wait to come back and try breakfast sometime.

I’m a native of Lebanon Junction, and live in Louisville. I’ve come back home often and was told about this restaurant and wasn’t disappointed. I met my friends Homer and Chris for an early breakfast one Sunday, and food was delicious and service was warm, friendly and fast. They put a lot of food on the plate too - quantity as well as quality! Highly recommend it.

We were on our way home from vacation and although we were only about 40 minutes from home, dinner couldn’t wait; everyone was starving and needed to get out of the car. Well, we almost impatiently chose a fast food place, but I happened to find this place instead. I am so glad we decided to make the stop. Our server happened to also be one of the owners, and she was so kind and helpful. The food was not only delicious, but also super quick. For home cookin, it was fast service. Small town, patriotic vibe, which we love and appreciate. We were impressed and very pleased to say the least. Thanks for a great last dinner of our vacation.
