El Tequila's Authentic Mexican Restaurant

El Tequila is a little taste of Mexico. I highly recommend stopping in. They have delicious food, great service and an authentic Mexican feel. Fresh warm chips and salsa. The guac is chunky, not baby food mush. Good music, it’s a good time.

This is an excellent Mexican restaurant. The tamales appetizer is worth the trip alone. The Mexican street tacos were tasty, and the chips and salsa were hot and fresh. Everything went well, including the service.

Came here for a dinner with my parents while on vacation.

The atmosphere at night is great. There are plenty of lights and the decor is great.

The food was better than we expected. My dad ordered a deluxe burrito and my mom and I shared some flautas. Everything was delicious. We wanted to keep eating although we were already full. The shredded chicken was some of the best I've had at any Mexican restaurant.

We also each had a jumbo margarita, two house and one blueberry, they were all delicious and did not feel watered down!

The service was also really good. Our server continuously checked in on us, and was extremely nice.

Overall, I would like to visit again and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Yesterday we visited El Tequila's with our mother in law that came to visit from Texas. The service and the food was wonderful! Our server was very friendly and attentive. Not everyone place makes mole the way I like it and this restaurant certainly did not disappoint. Will definitely be back again. Thank you for the food we all thought is was delicious!

This spacious Mexican restaurant has the best atmosphere outside. It's a nice ventilated Oasis. All of the staff are in mask and we also witness them cleaning the menus. The food was really good oh, so good we forgot to take pictures. We were very hungry LOL.

Wow this place was incredible! We visited while in Daytona for the weekend. The outside lights are very pretty. I got the house margarita and it was strong. Also got the quesadilla bonita and my husband got a burrito. Soooo delicious! A must anytime we visit now!

Thought I'd try the lunch menu. Was seated quickly. Many burritos to choose from, decided on the chicken fajita with a side of jalapenos which also came quickly, sizzling to the table. Jalapenos were chopped perfectly, had three tortillas which was plenty, finished the rest with a fork. Raul the server was excellent, introduced himself, and the owner was busy behind the bar. I came for the food, and found the service was five stars. Will definitely come back here! Check this place out when you're in the area.

I visit Daytona Beach about twice per year to go fishing, once during Red Snapper season and also during the Bull Redfish run. When I'm in town for a week I always eat at El Tequila's no less than two times. The services if super fast, the food is amazing and the prices are affordable.

If your hungry for some great Mexican food...then Cha..Cha..Cha..yourselves on over to El Tequilas!! Great food! Very sweet waitstaff! And I've noticed everyone who comes in the door has a smile on their face😄 They know what's up!! Come try their margaritas...I couldn't have one today cause I'm a trucker who drives in less than 8 hours😪 But the food is Awesome!! South Daytona...Hit em.up✌

Great Mexican dishes.
Deluxe burrito had a great red sauce with lettuce and cheese sauce and came with beans and rice.
Party of four and not a bad dish in the bunch.
One note on the Sangria, I heard twice that wine or fruit juice needed a upgrade.
Will be back many more times, it was that good.
