As a maintenance supervisor I have working with them side by side in the last two decades. They have always been there for us to fix problems that nobody else touch! Great people, great service!

I'm consistently calling Florida Plumbing Works with incredibly complex problems in multi-story condominiums. FPW has the most knowledgeable mechanics in the area. They have NEVER failed to permantly resolve an issue. Fantastic staff, great company.

Called these unprofessional people to install a water line. Requested they put a normal insert in the wall so we could connect our ice maker.

They did a poor job of running the line, left sawdust where the did their work and did not install the wall insert.

Work was worse than a homeowner would do. They unplugged the refrigerator and did not verify it was plugged back in, costing us several hundred dollars in food and 375 dollars for the service call.

When we called the owner, he came out to our house and did not listen to our complaint, but screamed in our faces that in this case the customer is wrong because it is not his job to plug the fridge back in where it was unplugged from.

These people are the worst business people we have ever dealt with. Just a horrible company!

DO NOT USE FLORIDA PLUMBING WORKS—THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK !!
I had a slow leak in my refrigerator ice maker hose and was unable to turn off the wall pipe (valve wouldn’t turn). Thus had to turn all the water off at the water heater. For whatever reason the plumber chose to cut off the part of the hose that was leaking and added what, I was told a was needle valve. Secondary to the slow leak it was discovered that black mold had formed on the wall, thus I had to place a claim with my insurance company. When the contractor sent by the insurance company came and saw the fix that had been done, one of the 1st things he said was “We have to get a plumber out here to fix this pipe”. Their plumber came and replaced the valve that didn’t work. Being upset because I’d just paid FP Works $190.00 to fix the pipe, and now finding out that it was not done properly, I called the office requesting a refund. They requested and I sent pictures of both fixes. I have not heard from them since. I wish I had read some of these reviews, before I’d hired them. Things can happen, but a reputable business stands behind what their workers do. FLORIDA PLUMBING WORKS DOESN’T. So BUYER BEWARE. IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH ANY WORK THEY DO, DON’T EXPECT ANY RESTITUTION. ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY IN THEIR HANDS, THEY ARE THROUGH WITH YOU!!

Between August 5th and 6th I called this place 6 times. The first 2 times I spoke to a lady who was trying to dispatch someone to my house the same day as a pipe had busted and water was coming all in my house. At about 6PM she had called me back saying someone wouldn't be able to come out the same day. Totally understandable. After that I tried to get in touch with them throughout the night and somebody would answer and say "a technician will give you a definitive call back shortly". Never heard from them after calling at least four more times. Mind you my water in the house was completely shut off to prevent more leaks. Currently now over a day without water and still haven't heard back. Only reason I was dealing with this place is because my home warranty company uses them as a plumbing service; big mistake and will let them know that this plumbing company is incompetent. Can't shower, flush a toilet, wash clothes or dishes and can't get a call back. Terrible business ethics. Don't bother calling, definitely look elsewhere.

EDIT: called one more time and a lady told me "If they're not calling you back, try somewhere else". Great business attitude...

👎🏻632 Ridgewood 👎🏻This place is the last place you would want to conduct business. Let’s start with (Jan )the receptionist who answers the phone like,” yeah”? Me, “hello I’m supposed to have a plumber coming over today to finish the work he started Friday. “Jan,”I have no work order”.me,”Ok well he was supposed to return Friday or Monday early is what I was told by him”.me,”The problem is much worse could you send me someone different”?Uh oh ,I opened Pandora’s box! Jan suddenly took on a nasty tone and couldn’t think of anything other to say then, whatever !whatever! whatever ! I asked to speak to someone other then herself and she hung up the phone. The so called licensed plumber I met was in my home from 840am till 11am half the time on the phone trying to get someone to help him. He obviously had no clue what he was doing because my drip is now a turned on faucet day 3. Only used this company because my rental unit works with them. Not sure how these people are still working at this place. Must be related.👎🏻

As others have mentioned here, Jan, the Receptionist and wife of the owner, Duane, is extremely rude and unprofessional. And when I asked to speak to Duane, she told me that he was sick and she will not have him call me back, ever. We will not be using them again in the future.

Never showed up.
