I always get a great haircut !

I never give awful reviews, but in this case I wanted to make sure no one else went through what I did. I'll start off by saying these ladies were nice. That's the ONLY positive in this experience. Some friends of mine and I were from out of town for a wedding. I should've known it was too good to be true when they weren't a walk-in only salon and had availability for the 3 updos immediately on a Saturday. The owner of the salon passed the updos for my friends to another lady there
because she didn't feel comfortable doing those... They weren't intricate whatsoever. Then it was my turn. I showed her a picture of what I wanted - my hair curled and my bangs flat ironed (this was an actual pic of me). She barely glanced at the picture and started to work (with me facing away from the mirror). I really and truly wish I had taken a picture of the end result. Some hair was curled, some looked completely straight. The part that was curled was just the lower part of my hair. Almost like curled under instead of all over. She sprayed my bangs as they were and never attempted to flat iron them. I swear I've never seen anything like this. This is what I'd expect from my 8 year old daughter. She seemed pleased with the end result. I couldn't believe it. Not only did it not look ANYTHING like the picture, it didn't look good. At all. It was so bad I was embarrassed to go into Wal-Mart's salon and have it fixed (which by the way did a FANTASTIC job on my hair). I didn't say anything to the lady doing my hair because if she thought it looked good, then there was obviously a problem.
