Family Health Source - Daytona

My family and I moved here two years ago. While looking for medical care Family Health Source was suggested and we have been very satisfied with our services. Dr. Johnson is great and he truly cares for his patients. He and his staff have truly been a blessing to us. So much so I can say we have found our Medical Home!

Angela Beech , PA is the most caring provider I have ever seen. I will continue coming to this clinic just to have her as my provider. She took extra time to talk with me about my concerns and went over my test results with great detail. She is truly a provider that cares about her patients. Highly recommend!!

Mr. Julian is awesome. Always listens to my concerns and treats them as needed. I have been going to him for over 5 yrs and never a problem. Would definitely recommend him. Very down to earth

I wasn't a fan of some but now they have Dr Angela Beech I absolutely love her. I told her my concerns and I had other doctors dismiss me and not care and she took the extra steps to get everything done I needed and listened. She's quite funny also lol. Thank you for being a great doctor!! Need more like that! Hopefully the clinic keeps her around they change doctors alot!

Julian Johnson is one of the best doctors that my mother has had in years. I attended her appointment with her after hearing how much he'd helped her. He proves to live up to the praise she gave him. Out of all the doctors my mother has seen over the years, not ONE of them caught what was actually wrong with her, and he managed do to it in one visit. I'm am beyond impressed and incredibly grateful for Julian because he has given my mother her life back. Julian is down to earth and knows how to talk to you like you're a human being. I'm so glad that we found him.

I had an appointment this morning,
And it was great. The doctor's and nurse's are so wonderful. And the young lady at the front desk is so awesome.
She will do anything to make sure you get what you need, with a smile. I recommend family health sources in Daytona Beach. To everyone that needs medical care.

I absolutely love my doctors office! Have been going for over a year and every appointment has been on time (which in my prior experiences is unheard of!) all of the office staff, nurses, and everyone I’ve been in contact with are always so kind, friendly, and professional. Julian Johnson is wonderful! Finally, a dr who takes his time and actually listens to you! My health is better managed now than in all my 65 years! I’d give it 10 stars ⭐ if I could! Highly recommend!

They’re extremely helpful & the sliding scale is affordable! Very friendly staff & the doctor was attentive & provided good explanations.

My dad David Ayers is a patient of Dr Julian Johnson and he has never been in a Better Place! He’s almost 58 years old and he’s had a broken nose for 40 years now but his Dr Julian Johnson heard him wheezing and realized he could have sleep apnea and not only sent him to a sleep study but also sent him to a ear nose and throat specialist who then determined that he had deviated septum’s and scheduled surgery for him and now he can breath after 40 years ! Family Health Source is a Great Clinic and they have ALL HELPED MY FAMILY OUT ! I’d like to mention Nicole the Nurse who is an inspirational source for us all ! Always attentive and a Positive Person! I’m thankful for Family Health Source and Dr Julian Johnson being my Drs !

PA. Julian Johnson is the absolute best! He is very patient, kind and understanding and he definitely knows what he's doing! He is way better than many doctors I have seen at other clinics over the years.
I can't thank him enough for being so wonderful and really have saved me.
I just hope that anyone that's reading my review, will try to be understanding that they work really hard and there are not enough staff so sometimes the wait is long and of course sometimes mistakes happen. Please be kind and patient and understanding to them for they are there working very hard and willing to help you. I hope you will receive great treatment and happy with your experience like I always do!

I get excellent care from the staff an the doctors.Highly recommend them if you need to see a doctor.

Dr Julian Johnson is awesome. I recently started seeing him when the other doctor left the practice. I liked him. He was attentive to what I am currently experiencing, laid my fears to rest, and recommended treatment. He did not write unnecessary scripts, which I appreciate.
The next part of my review does not in any way reflect on the Bevile rd. location, or the staff in any way.
In relation to their new sign-in "experiment",it sucks. My personal information does not need to be used for "study" purposes. I did not accept their terms of use.
Instead, I spoke with the receptionist and was taken care of with much more respect than the stupid computer.
I recommend Family Health Source to anyone looking for a doctor.
There is also a pharmacy across the hall with much better prices than your typical big box pharmacies.

Dr Erin Hough was just simply amazing. My mother went to her first appointment today and we are so grateful. Explains so we can understand, informative and caring. We left feeling very comfortable and assured to have been in her care. Especially after previous bad experience at another facility. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

This office is great. The staff is very caring, helpful, and understanding. Julian Johnson is phenomenal. My wife and I had appointments today with Julian and he took his time with both of us and answered all of our questions and explained everything to us. We would recommend Julian Johnson and his staff highly to anyone who is looking for a great family doctor.

He LISTENS to his patients, and has a great attitude! He is SO very thorough! Its refreshing not having to do our own footwork! This Dr. has gotten more done for me in 6 months than my previous Dr. did in 3 years! He is on the ball and wants the best for his patients! He wants to get them well...not keep them medicated! And the staff here is PHENOMENAL!! Kind and also quite thorough ...these people are personable and kind!! The front desk girls AND the nurses!!

Family health source is great! Julian Johnson is by far the best doctor I see out of all my other doctors. He actually takes the time to listen to his patients and to provide them with the treatment plan. And for all the people complaining about waiting are exaggerating. I’ve never waited longer that 25
Minutes from my scheduled appt time. would you rather see a doctor who spends ten minutes with you and sends you on your way vs a doctor like Julian’s who will spend 20 min or so communicating with you and you actually get your concerns addressed by someone who cares to listen. As for his staff they’re wonderful too! They’re always helpful and they do their best to accommodate you such as trying to fit you in for appts and what not. This is coming from a patient who sees numerous doctors for her lupus and they’re no where near as attentive than Dr.Johnson.

Family Health Source consists of several offices throughout the area, but I have only been seen at the Daytona Beach location. It was the only office I could get an appointment at relatively quickly after an injury to my arm. The ladies in the reception area were very polite and helpful. The medical staff was friendly and most visits they got me in and out quickly. Only on one occasion did I have much of a wait, about 45 minutes, but the staff was having to deal with a patient demanding a script for pain medicine which they could not provide. (This person was not kind to the staff but they remained professional despite this incident.) I have never seen the doctor that is supposedly at this location, only the physician's assistant, Julian Johnson. He was always very professional, helped with any questions I had, and proved to me he cared about helping people... the reason medical professionals should do what they do! I agree with many of the other reviews about him taking the time to address the reasons why we've come to the doctor, to get better! My only complaint with Family Source is that although I have had multiple tests/referrals given on my behalf, several have fallen through due to issues with their referral department and my insurance (both of which blame each other). When I reached out to the referral department, which is in another location, they were not friendly as the medical office staff was, and left me feeling like I had bothered them by calling. Unfortunately, this happened on several occasions and I have brought it up with Julian on follow-up visits.

In general, we have all come to expect wait times and insurance issues when we have to go to the doctor. It's part of what our medical care system has become in the United States. This isn't a reason to give this facility a bad review. The professionals here are very caring and are happy to help the patients that come through their doors. This is why I took the time to review them and I hope they remain in the area to continue helping us.
