Dahlia Avenue Park

It was in a good convenient spot that was FREE :), along the road you take to try and park to get onto the beach over in Daytona. It was pretty packed for a week day (*on a Tuesday) but still had a couple parking spots and was very peaceful. Not a very packed park people wise, but it still would have been able to have had a couple people be able to come and squeeze in and fill in the rest of the parking lot. I found my new beach parking spot, just based for the fact it was the least stressful time I have had parking and leaving the beach

Free parking. Small play area for the little. Restrooms that are clean and smell clean. Outdoor showers. Covered pavilions with tables and grills. Ramp or steps to access beach. Beautiful wide beach especially at low tide. Near the pier.

They have restrooms, showers, a small pavillion with a picnic table and a playground here.
We went in 9/2023 - parking was ample and did not have to cross the major road to get there.
Stairs to the beach

This is the perfect place to take a stroll down the beach. A lot more parking than Sun Splash and the bathrooms were very clean, which is a big bonus, as is not as much litter on the beach. The playground is more for the smaller kids, so mine didn't take part. Love this spot!!

Discovered this location by accident the first time we visited Daytona several years ago. At that time, it was a very narrow parking area of about ten slots and an older bathhouse. During Covid, the lot next to the park was purchased and the park was completely bulldozed and renovated. More parking, new bathhouse and a playground for the kids.

We like this spot because it is easy in and out, and the beach is just steps from the car.

I came at night for a bonfire in the reservable fire pit. We had a great time.

At night there was no fee, bathroom clean and open and a nice bonfire location.

I will be returning during the day for sure

A smallish parking lot but very convenient to Dunlawton Ave intersection. Restrooms are clean and newer.
There appears to be a nice surf break as several surfers arrived around sunrise.

Was a beautiful day! Enjoyed the park and people we met while walking.

A beautiful new beach accessible parking area with picnic tables , restrooms, and outdoor showers to wash off the sand from the beach. They also have benches to sit and enjoy the view.

Newly opened free public parking in The Shores, with ramp beach access, restrooms, shaded kids area and picnic tables. Great location, within walking distance to Sunglow Pier.
