Upon walking in, thinks to self: “what a great little place!” The old school tables and chairs - I instantly knew it was gonna be good. My spidey senses were not wrong. The service is fantastic, the food even better and the music continued the good feels…. Everything made this feel like a home cooked meal with family. My food was cooked perfect and the pancakes were a delight. If you’re in the south Daytona area, stop here. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the perfect brunch spot! The service was impeccable. The owner was even there taking orders and helping out! The ambiance was very welcoming and cheerful. The food was incredible, if you go you HAVE to try the buttermilk biscuits or the pancakes. We will definitely be back!

I can’t say enough good things about this gem of a cafe! Veteran decor, amazing staff/cooks and I haven’t had a bad meal yet. Very friendly and welcoming. And if you’re ever in for breakfast and see the pork chops as a special, do yourself a favor and order them!! Amazing! 🤙🏻🇺🇸

A great experience! The grits were thick and hearty! And the owner even did a little dance for us and gave us some of the history of the interesting decor! I told Steve I would only come back if he gave me the cool monkey lamp but it’ll be our go to Breakfast place when in Daytona area

We had brunch here and it was incredible. Reasonably priced, too! Our server was super sweet, and the (presumed) owner came by to check on everything and was very friendly. Highly recommend for anyone needing a recovery meal.

Great place for breakfast! The food is spot on and the team is attentive and friendly. The owners put their heart into this and it shows. It was a very busy Daytona Bike Week morning when we visited and things ran smoothly even with several large groups coming in. We will be back next time we are in town!

Great little breakfast place!
Super friendly. Affordable prices. French toast is super cinnamon flavored. My husbands biscuit and gravy was delicious. Everything we had was wonderful. Bacon was thick and crisp. Food came out warm and fast. Would eat here again. I like to support small businesses when I go somewhere new. Will have to stop here for lunch next time I come through here.

STOP! Just go ahead and stop looking for somewhere to eat breakfast, you just found it. Incredible service and no wait time (even on spring break Friday). The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

My friend and I came here on this Friday morning looking for a good breakfast place and cocktails. We each had great Bloody Mary’s and I had the Florentine Benedict and my friend had the “Can’t Decide.” They were both delicious, his waffle was perfectly fluffy and sweet, the eggs were cooked to perfection, great hash browns. The service was even better, a few very personable waitresses frequently checking up on our enjoyment, and the owner, Steve, had pleasant conversations with what seemed to be all the regulars. I could catch the friendly culture that this place is going for. Highly recommend!

brunch. We ended up getting the Baboon Burger and the Country Style Eggs Benedict. Both were delicious and filling. Owner Steve was friendly and chatted with us after our meal. Definitely a hidden gem!

Great food! Great service! It's so important to my family to support businesses that support our military. We're only in FL twice a year, I bought a mug so we could remember this restaurant and visit again!!! Hash browns were awesome!

Went to the Monkey Morning Café for the first time. Very cozy American diner atmosphere. And superfriendly service! I had the 3 cheese omelet and let's say it was cheesy. The food tasted very good, great hashbrowns also. It was just way too much for me so I had to take a to go box. My friend finished all his and liked his 2 egg breakfast as well. And very good price for the amount of food. I think at Denny's or somewhere we would have paid double. Will be back sometime soon to try the other items.

This is a great local and lively must “GO TO” if you are in Daytona! Much Southern LOVE from Michelle, Steve, and everyone who was working there this morning! Now, the food….as we say
” BROKE DA MOUTH” and well worth it! Flavorlicious, worth every penny and more. The coffee and food was SO GOOD, my “ chatty” mother-in-law was quiet through her whole meal good. They have one of the BEST GRITS & SAUSAGE GRAVY that we ever had in a very long time. If you want to be “ ADVENTUROUS “, eat the two together. Sounds weird, but tasty. We’ll be back and will bring our friends with us!

I absolutely love this place! We are happily greeted every time we walk through the doors, no matter how busy they are. My wife always gets crispy bacon and over easy eggs. I always get the Monkey Omlett, it fantastic! Cheap place with great food, very friendly staff, and a cool vibe.

Steve and his wife were more than hospitable! Being from Chicago where we have great breakfast places, I was very happily surprised when I walked into this cafe. We were greeted at the door and were immediately seated. There were plenty of options for some our party who were vegetarians, the food was out of this world. A few of us ordered lunch and a few ordered breakfast. I will definitely visit this place again when I come back to visit! We ordered 8 different dishes and all of them were tasty and fresh!

Cannot get enough of this place. They don’t hesitate to make you feel like a local here. Everyone we met that worked here was very welcoming. Fast service, indoor seating, great vibe, dine in or takeout. Great breakfast options with more food than I could handle in one sitting. They have t-shirts for sale too. They support our military so they will keep my business. We will be back!
