Grovetown Ace Hardware

Folks in here are helpful and know their stuff. They don't always have what I need, but know their stock and can usually find something comparable. I recommend this store, and am glad to have it close by.

Friendly definition: This ACE Hardware.
Why: When you walk into a store where you don't know a single employee, yet they ALL greet you and will carry on a conversation regardless if related to a project or purchase. 😁

Purchased a Blackstone grill from this location. We arrived right before closing and the employees were very understanding and accommodating. They did not rush us or make us feel rushed.

This is a pretty good Ace Hardware - well organized, clean, with a wide range of tools and hardware goods and a very friendly and helpful staff. Parking is pretty easy and I have never had to wait in line. The outside garden center is a little light and they don't stock lumber, but the inside garden section is very well equipped.
The tool section is pretty extensive, and they have a wide selection of grills and grilling accessories, including repair parts, plus some lawn mowers and trimming tools.
The hardware section is fairly outstanding considering the size of this Ace location. I go here whenever I need one of those hard to find hardware items.
Like all the Ace Hardware stores, the prices are a bit to a fair bit higher than you would find at a Walmart, Lowe's, or Home Depot store, though for most of the hardware (e.g. deck screws, nails and hooks) the prices are comparable.
I really love their seasonal selections - they always do a good job and have some very beautiful items. I always drool a bit when I walk through this section, which is located at the front of the store.
All in all I have *always* enjoyed coming to this store, even if I can't find whatever I may have been looking for because of the wide variety of items, cleanliness & order, and the always helpful & friendly staff.

Very educated, helpful, professional and pleasant employees made this store run extremely positive.

Went in for a hose, but did some looking around. Spent almost 20 minutes chatting with an incredibly knowledgeable employee about a specific product that had nothing to do with my trip, but he saved me buckets of money on an upcoming project, making it well worth the trip! And got my 100 ft hose with a discount!

I would like to give a special mention to Ayanna. We called to several stores in the area looking for particular Stihl parts. Her and the staff were helpful in putting us on hold to look and confirm they were in stock. I arrived at the store within minutes of closing and she already had them at the register. This level of care and customer service is greatly appreciated.

Always good service at this store. Ordered online, item arrived early and had it assembled. Young man who helped me loaded it into my car. Quick trip, great location for me and excellent service, thank you!

Everytime I shop in this store I'm asked if I'm needing help, very friendly, eager to help. Prices are a little higher than competitors but that's because it's always placed in a spot that will be convenient for anyone who don't have much time to finish a job or home improvement project. Like they say, they're the neighborhood hardware store, very clever lol

I recently bought a pressure cooker,canner there the really big one,and they have all the assories you'll need also great customer service,which is so very important! Thank's ace hardware,great job!

I can honestly say that the service here was the best that I have ever had from anywhere. The young man who sold me the blower was a rock star. He took time to show me how to crank it. He even carried it to the car. The girl who checked me out was wonderful

Very helpful and have all the things you need from a hardware store. Also a good selection of BBQ equipment and rubs and sauces. A lot of green egg merchandise as well

Shop here frequently and staff always eager to help. In fact, recently a young girl went out of her way to walk me out to the garden center in the cold and lifted a heavy bag of landscape bark onto my cart when I stopped her inside and asked could she tell me where to find it. I could tell she had something else she was working on too. Amazing this day and time to be honest. Just one example.

Friendly staff, clean sales floor, nice and cool, well organized. Plants are healthy and well cared for. Prices are posted properly on the outside items! Had fun, we'll be back!
