The Butcher’s Club

I did not know what to expect give some mixed reviews, but... coming from a frequent patron of nice steakhouses all over the world let me tell you: Butcher's Club was outstanding. While it's notably pricier than average, even for high-end steakhouses, with our meal racking up to about $300 per person with minimal alchol (a single cocktail per person), the experience justifies the expense. The service, food, and cocktails were all exceptional, making it a place I will happily visit regularly.

PS. Caesar salad was a surprise hit! I don't know what they're doing with that, but I finished the whole thing.

Had the amazing pleasure of dining in at The Butchers Club this evening and wow! The food was incredible, the service was impeccable and the ambiance was beautiful. Everything we had to eat was perfectly cooked with an array of beautiful, fresh flavors and gorgeous plating. 10/10 recommendation to anyone thinking of trying this restaurant!!

The service was fantastic and the food was incredible. The salmon was superb and even the Caesar salad had a little something extra that bumped the taste up. I’ve had salmon from so many different places and what this place does with it, is out of this world.

Michael was a terrific server - polite, personable, attentive, knowledgeable and helpful.
Oysters, shrimp, Wagyu strip steak and filet, two standard filets, asparagus, potatoes, mushrooms, passion fruit ice cream, toffee date, and almond cake, old fashions, Cantaloupe in Palm Beach (with rum), and wine.
All were phenomenal.
We will return.

Perfection! Dined here Christmas Eve and so glad we did. EVERYTHING was fantastic.. service, food, atmosphere. We are members at PGA and will definitely be dining here again. Witnessed the Tomahawk Experience...WOW!

The food here was the best. I came here after the Honda Classic. What a treat. The food was expensive but worth it. The drinks were also expertly made.

This place far exceeded expectations. From the service with our waiter Lebeau to the AMAZING food and atmosphere. This has been by far my favorite restaurant in Palm Beach. The Caesar salad and jalapeño poppers to start were incredible. The chef here has creations unlike any other place. The snow crab appetizer is a little small but delicious. The purée potato’s…omg. If you love mashed potatoes and potato soup then you will love this! We loved it so much we ordered it twice. Can’t say enough great things but trust me, must try!
Also very considerate of my parsley allergy!

I just noticed that there are not a ton of reviews for this place. I ate here about a year ago now, but it was excellent. In fact, I would say it was probably on my top 3 meals of 2022. I wish I had photos to share. I had their house bread/rolls, they were great. I had a salad (i think Caesar) that had truffle on it, it was great, and then a chick dinner item (I can't remember exactly what, but it was also great). I also had the jalapeño poppers, those were probably the highlight.

Perfect place for a special occasion. The menu was incredible, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Sandra who was extremely personable and took great care of us all night. Everything was delicious, but the crunchy bravas potatoes were noteworthy and a must try.

We stayed in the resort for a night and decided to give The Butcher's Club a try, and wow am I glad we did!

From being greeted by the host to our server and all the support staff, everyone was friendly and welcoming.

The food was INCREDIBLE. I also loved that everything was served family style so you could get a few different dishes and try everyones without awkward passing a fork across the table.

Definitely make sure you get the steak sauces! I personally loved the steak glaze. Subtle enough to not overtake the flavor of the steak but adds a nice touch.

To top it off, the chef, Jermey Ford, even sat and talked with us for a bit!

Next time I'm in town, I will definitely make sure to dine here again!

A chef truly lives here. Seldom do you find a place with professional and warm staff AND exquisite food. Each visit, and there have been several as this is our favorite restaurant, has been a treat. Jolin welcomes us warmly by name and we instantly feel appreciated. Cameron expertly served us and our every need was anticipated and more than met. It was nice seeing LeBeau at the table next to us, a kind server we spent an evening with during a previous visit. Kurt and Andy also stopped by our table ensuring our night was perfect - it was! Now the food - the chicken is food you would dream about. The Caesar salad is otherworldly, and the crab Mac and cheese was Heaven. Thank you to the chef and everyone in the kitchen who made our meals.

Genuinely enjoyed every course. The different tastes and the tapas-style (yet high quality and quantity!) really made this one of my top meals in the US so far. The service is as expected, not in your face, present and alert, yet friendly and with a smile.

—With every new restaurant there are always pros and cons. So this review will give you an amazing insight into our experience. Let’s get right to what’s most important.
The food was outstanding. Literally every item chosen seemed to be a perfect choice. Although I already knew the tuna crudo would be phenomenal I was also pleasantly surprised by the ham and olives appetizer. We chose to do the Wagyu fillet since it was the best fillet on the menu and it was perfect. All the meats are delivered sliced down which is very smart because it almost guarantees they have a chance to see it before delivering it to your table which will guarantee you the perfect temperature that you ordered.
Next, they obviously spent the time needed to train their staff. Unlike many restaurants in town where the service is lacking everybody there was on point. From the waiters and waitresses to the food runners to the bartenders it is clear that everybody has been trained and knows their product very well. So without a doubt this is a place in Palm Beach Gardens worth visiting.
—Now, let’s talk about where some details fall short….
This restaurant is located in the PGA national resort. Please note this is not a Ritz nor is it a Four Seasons. Therefore the resorts price point brings in a specific customer (staying at the resort) that seems to slightly ruin the overall experience.
If I am spending $300+ for me and my guest, do you really think flip flops and cut off denim shorts should be allowed…no! Save that for Outback Steakhouse.
The restaurant is beautiful and clearly there was a lot of money spent on the decor. Need I say it has a very classy retro feel. Unfortunately that feeling goes away quickly when there is zero standard in regards to overall attire.
Although I believe it looks amazing the main dining room directly behind the host stand has extremely loud acoustics. Now when I say loud, I mean you can literally not hear any music they’re playing nor your own conversation. If you have the choice the smaller dining room to the left of the host stand upon entering is a much better place in order to enjoy your conversation.
Again you must remember this is PGA national resort which brings in a lot of families. It also brings in a very unpleasant element. The element that is being mentioned is the typical northeastern loud abrasive men who are on their “golf trip”. Our area has attracted many people who have flooded in from the northeast due to covid. With that comes a stereotypical element that many simply despise. Trying to enjoy your dinner while middle aged men scream and yell over each other, clearly have been drinking all day and say F**k every other word is not what this area needs but we got it anyway. PGA resort clearly had more affordable rate for these types. Based on their conversation they were saving for the “mens clubs” after dinner.
Management was nice enough to move us to another table. Unfortunately at no point were these “guests” asked to tone it back. Basically ruining the entire room’s experience. This is a classic mistake of someone who has not had a restaurant in this area for a long period of time. Restaurant owners will tell you that during the off-season their restaurants are supported by locals not visitors. As a local I will frequent that restaurant 4 to 5 times more than any guests coming in from out of town. Management needs to have a better grip on this situation.
So let’s end on a positive. Dessert was the Toffee item and an espresso martini. Again both were perfect!!!
So will I be back? 100% yes!
You need to experience it. If you do, choose your table wisely or you may have your experience dampened by some flip flop, cut off shorts wearing obnoxious alpha males that clearly needs basic lessons in manners…Florida manners, not the northeast overcompensating kind.
Restaurant is excellent but just cause you’re in Florida it doesn’t mean it’s ok to lower standards. Demand excellence and you will get it!

Ate here last week for client dinner. Great Service (Will and Carlos). Excellent wine selection. They have off menu bottles if you ask. We had a few starters, and the Tomahawk finished tableside. Everything was outstanding.

The Gooey Black Truffle Jalapeño Poppers appetizer were the perfect bite! So much flavor and surprise!
For dinner I chose Pan Roasted Local Fish which was Red Snapper and all I can say is “Magic in a bowl!! So delicate and flavorful and wow that Kombu broth
