Sooo so good! Can't recommend the chargrilled oysters enough definitely some of the best we have ever had! We absolutely loved them! It was so beautiful sitting on the back deck today. We also had the spinach and artichoke dip w/ bow tie pasta, the steak burger, and etouffe. They were all super super good! We will definitely be back! Alex was a great waiter as well!

My new favorite place! Cody was our server and he is amazing! Always had our drinks filled, brought us anything we wanted fast with a laid back personality. The atmosphere should have 10 star rating! It’s a huge beautiful restaurant! I had the boudin balls with sauce that’s an awesome horseradish flavor. The spinach and artichoke dip is phenomenal! Perfectly cooked bow tie pasta deep fried for dipping. And this place has the BEST burger I’ve ever had! It’s the Steak Burger. It is so tender and delicious! It’s the only burger they can put a temp on to cook to order and mine was perfectly medium. Our best friend ordered two of the upside down pineapple drinks. The fries are nice and crispy and good dipped in the horseradish sauce. I added pictures of outside and the food, but my pics won’t do this place justice!

Went to The Chimes in Covington for the first time last night to celebrate my birthday. I really liked the atmosphere of this place. Very layed back. Family friendly with added bonuses on the property. We had a party of 4 and was seated immediately. Our server was really great. He put in our drink and appetizer order. Our every need was meet during dinner. Things came out in courses which I really like. The food was fantastic and so were the mixed drinks. After dinner however was the fun part. In the back of the  restaurant they have 2 cute friendly goats and a walk way that leads you to the river. The have places to sit down to enjoy the view and you can also rent kayaks and paddle boards. On the way back they also had a place where you can play corn husk toss or horseshoes. They even have string lights to light the area up at night. This restaurant was so cool and was like a day resort. I will be back to The Chimes because this place is the total package!

Everything was great A+++ except the food the was just good A-. The reason is that when you are in South Louisiana most places have what's on the menu here, but nothing is signature but all was good!

The food at the Chimes was very good. In our party we ate the boudin balls, bbq shrimp, boat load seafood platter and a burger. Everyone enjoyed their food. The menu has a good selection of seafood and non-seafood options.

Being a Cajun living in Texas the last twenty years it was good to eat some really good seafood that is seasoned to perfection. Definitely would recommend the Chimes and hope to stop the next time we are visiting family nearby.

Such a great place to go if you’re in town! My in laws live in Folsom so we made the drive here and we’re not disappointed. I got a blackened salmon Caesar salad, and then we got several apps for the table like crawfish Mac, oysters, gumbo, and veggies.

Everything was so nicely seasoned, especially the salmon on my salad! The veggies were smothered in butter and cooked to perfection.

Our server was great despite being so busy, the place was lovely but not too loud, we overall had a fantastic time and will definitely visit again!

I’ve been to this establishment a handful of times and the food and experience is always top tier. I travel about an hour to come here. The Creole Cream of Crawfish soup is one of the best soups I’ve ever had. I normally get the Grilled Chicken entrée, and it is so delicious, and for the price, it’s very worth it. The view of you sit outside is beautiful, and even if you are waiting for a table, you can go behind the restaurant and walk around. If you’re in the area and contemplating which restaurant to try, this is the one!

The Chimes never disappoints! I ordered the Alfredo Pasta with Blackened Chicken. I went in pretty late to pick it up and found it still piping hot when I got back to my hotel room.

Y’all. When I tell you that I licked my fingers CLEAN when I finished?!? Definitely a go to spot if you’ve never been. The brand as a whole does a phenomenal job, no matter the location. They’re awesome in Covington and in Baton Rouge.

5 stars! Nicely done!

The Chimes seems to be the place to be on a Saturday evening. We were visiting New Orleans from Texas and decided to try the restaurant. We went in and there was a 1 hour 45 minute wait. We decided to order a meal to go. We waited about 20 minutes for them to prepare our meal and noticed that many people came in and chose to wait.

The food we purchased and took with us was very good. The appetizer would have made a meal in itself. The hostesses and wait staff were very friendly.

We would eat there again.

This has been one of the most phenomenal establishments I’ve ventured to in Louisiana! Top 10 taprooms in the nation! YMMV…definitely worth every penny! I give this plane my infamous “2 hard nipples” rating for how great not only their food and selection of brews were not their service was beer attentive, swift, and overall satisfactory with a capital S! I love this place!

My boss and I actually walked in two nights in a row. The food is good and the atmosphere is awesome. The Bourbon selection was very nice as well. Living on the bourbon trail in Lexington, KY I can approve. Will be back.

This place was very good! I love oysters and the chargrilled Black Jack with bacon definitely feed my soul to say the least. Had the charbroiled catfish with red beans and that was pretty good as well! Nothing we ordered was mediocre. Everything tasty and hot! Mya was an awesome table host. She was very attentive and always checking on our needs. Mya knew what dishes to recommend and her attitude was so pleasant. This was our first visit and we will be back!

First time visiting this Chimes but I've been to the others. This one is large and spacious on the inside. It also has a pretty large patio area that is covered. The outdoor area is so nice with a walkway down to the river. We went during the day and at night. It's nice either way. There were two goats down in the grass we saw kids admiring and feeding.

The river area has kayaks for rent and a space to put into the river. The food at this location was top notch. Everything was fresh and delicious!! The Oysters were incredible and we tried every option on the menu. 🦪

We will be back!!

2 words. SWAMP BUCKET.

That is all ..

Just kidding lol. I went here once a while ago for dinner. It was lovely. Not a lot of super cute options on the North shore. I feel like this is definitely one of them. Came back recently via the boat dock while on an adventure with Captain Mike. That was fun to come through the back and get some tasty cocktails that were very strong from the nice bartenders. Not mad at this experience at all

The food was great, but it was pretty busy so it took a while. The server did keep us updated on everything and it was a very good experience. The food quality is on par with the other locations and the atmosphere is just as festive. It has a real sports bar type feel

My friend and I enjoyed a really nice lunch here at Chimes after a beautiful kayaking trip right behind the restaurant. We had a very attentive waiter by the name of Jared. The lagniappe cakes were so good and our blackened shrimp salad with remoulade dressing was cooked to perfection! Oh and almost forgot our margaritas were delicious! We loved the outdoor atmosphere both inside and outside. Since I live in the Northshore I plan on bringing other people here! Loved it!!

This is a cool spot in Covington. The food is outstanding. Get the spinach and artichoke the fried bow tie pasta is great. Also the stuffed mushrooms are great. Cassidy did a good job we had a big group and she was hustling all night to get everyone taken care of.
