Atrium Health Cleveland Emergency Department

I drove and extra 12 min to get to this hospital because the only one closer to be is Spartanburg General and i have had family members with terrible experience there. It was worth the extra 12 min to be seen at this ER! Great staff, attentive, helpful, seen in a timely manner and everyone took steps to make sure they covered every possible treatment to ensure I was good to go before discharging me . Thank you!

One of the best experiences I’ve had at an ER in North or South Carolina. I usually go to main but this one was closer since i live just across the border in SC. The staff was efficient, friendly & more than willing to address any concerns. “Awesome Sauce you guys!” This is what healthCARE is all about. I felt like my family was caring for me. This experience was epic!

I had to visit yesterday, but I was so glad that I chose to go to Cleveland rather than another hospital. I was in and out in no time even though they were really busy the nurses were so quick, but also attentive and very friendly I was in shock by how smooth my visit was, and if I have the displeasure of another hospital visit, I will definitely be going here. Amazing job to all working there.

Had a late night visit to Atrium Cleveland ED and my care team was great. Elizabeth, RN, Crystal, RN and Dr. Costa made my experience very low stress and as comfortable as possible. They were all three very compassionate and caring towards my husband and I. I was very pleased with the care I received!

The Er Staff were very helpful to me and they were very nice at getting me through my day.

My husband went to the emergency room, was completely satisfied with the care given. The nurses were very good and quick to act. Doctor ONeill was extremely good, explained the tests to be done and explained the results. Very satisfied.

Definitely recommend! This was my fist time here and they were so nice, they actually take the time to listen to you and diagnose you. You actually feel like they care. Oh and this is the fastest emergency room visit I’ve ever experienced. I was only there for 1 hour and a half! Thank you so much! I wish I could remember all there names but I do know amber was my nurse ! And she was wonderful.

My doctor suggested I go to the emergency room due to shortness of breath. They called ahead and I was seen immediately and tests were done to rule out any serious conditions. There was effective communication and teamwork.
The ER was busy for a Monday morning, but I feel they did the best they could. We have to remember they are understaffed, as are most employers and they treat the most urgent cases first. Dr. Wagner was very apologetic for not getting in as quickly as he should have, but he made sure all tests were ran and I was updated when results were available.

Well, before I went to the hospital on Thursday March 10, 2022, I called to see if they would treat me because I do not have insurance. My call went through very quickly and they said, Atrium would never turn anyone away because they could not pay. When I arrived, they processed me quickly, within 3 minutes I was in a room. The Dr. on staff walked in right behind me and softly placed his hand on my shoulder, called me by name and said, "we are going to do everything in our power to help you today".

Then, a very nice nurse came in immediately after he left and went through their standard protocol of welcome and began taking my temperature, and blood pressure. The two of them made me feel very comfortable. In less than 15 minutes the PA. came in the room and did an assessment. She patiently answered all my questions and concerns, she said they needed to take an x-ray to determine what steps to take. In about 10 minutes, another nurse led me over to get x-rays on my knee, she was very kind and soft spoken. Afterwards, she walked me back to the room and wrapped my knee. She got me crouches and adjusted them to my height. She continued to give me helpful tips and information about what I should do moving forward.

I was treated with much kindness and respect. I am extremely satisfied with my entire experience with Atrium Health in the ER. I was in and out in a little over an hour. Thanks to the entire team.

They are really great with my husband he has had a heart attack and a stroke. Always fast clean courteous respectful. I would not go anywhere else nor would I take my husband anywhere else. Love the doctors here and the nurses all the staff front desk everyone is just so nice.

My recent ER visit gave me the opportunity to interact with the best of the best in the medical profession. I have NO complaints.

They have a Dr there by the name of Dr Victor ..he is amazing!..very observant..patient n understanding..very passionate about helping his patients get better..I recommend this hospital to even the surrounding areas...the nurses are great even the receptionist when u walk in ..heck even the darn security guards where nice ..Atrium health Cleveland thank u for taking the time out of your busy lives to help make me better ...u guys where spot on..n because of you I'm feeling way better literally!..God bless this facility..crazy how such a small town has the best services I've ever had I was extremely impressed..the care they show alone will began a healing process ..thanks u guys..Dr Victor is the Goat..n Dr Dan is as well💯

Suffered a seizure at Ingles grocery store and a severe gash on top of my head!!!! I was transported to Atrium Health where they kept me comfortable and safe and took really good care of me!!!! I'm thankful for everyone involved that helped me the other day..

Great experience while been attended by medical and nurses, I can even say I was glad to be in a hospital, from arriving time to discharge, I want to thank to Dr Daniel Troha and the beautiful nurses Courtney and Cassie for taking very good care of me, they all were very careful handling my injuries, they were few more personnel, can’t remember or new their names. I highly recomend this hospital, too bad it’s too far from home, I will visit or even volunteer to work there. Thank you so much. Excellent job, keep it up!!!

The staff provided excellent care to my two year old when he suffered a wrist injury. Everyone was kind and helped work with him in a way to keep him from being anxious with any of the procedures they had to do.

This is the best ER around. Iam treated as a person not just a patient. The entire ER staff is amazing.
