Fun place to hike cool Indian mounds to see. Unfortunately you can't walk on the mounds 😭 but it's a fun place to be

This has been made into a nice and open public park, complete with concrete walking trail for year round use, a few dirt trails through woods, and a nice view of the Little Tallahatchie River as it makes its way west toward the Mississippi Delta.

Obviously well maintained public park with paved trails. Unpaved trails in the woods had recently been maintained and there was new infrastructure and exercise equipment, so it seems like a place that Batesville is investing in.

It was very nearby the highway, so it made for a really nice stop off on a 14 hour drive, without traffic there to make it feel like it was just another highway rest area.

Had a wonderful visit. Light traffic/factory noise, but nothing unbearable.
It's a great park for walking, jogging, its 92% paved, so wheelchair accessible, also makes it good walking area for elder.
The nature trail muddy in a few spots, but not bad. Has a few sitting benches as well.
It's definitely one of the smaller parks/historical places I've been to; there was almost no human garbage which definitely made it get 5 stars.

I absolutely love this park! The scenery is nice and tranquil with lots of trees. Its a great place to go walking. Its the best thing in Batesville!! But than again I am bias because I love to walk!

Very interesting to go to and a nice place to walk to get away from people. Great learning experience as well for my family.

A well kept little park. Not as big as Cahokia Mounds. Bit still is a lot of history

The history is astounding. It's reverent. The unpaved trails give you the feeling of a different time.
