Nice spot. A few miles off the Blue ridge parkway. Friendly helpful people. A mixture of Cuban and Mexican and Spanish and not really tex mex. Lots of interesting places to sit
Enchiladas were tasty. I think the sandwich may require the mayo to be interesting. Reasonably priced and quick service.

Amazing place for having Mexican blend American food. The inside is kind of cozy but they have an great deck for sitting and you can enjoy the outside scenario. With the amazing quality of food you will just enjoy your meal there. On top of that the service was great.

Great food and service. Food was prepared upon our order, not before. Five parking spaces in front and ten tables inside. More parking down the hill in back of the restaurant. There is also a patio when the weather is warm. I recommend this place. It’s a bit rough looking but food makes up for it!

Great low-key restaurant with yummy food and good prices. Nice owners and staff. One of only a few restaurants in the area open on Mondays.

We dropped in when passing through and it was delicious! Such am amazing surprise to find so much more that a usual Mexican restaurant —WOW Cuban and Spanish! We will always remember and if we come through we’ll be back. The folks that run this seem so kind.

Didn’t eat here, but traveled from Columbia, SC to fish in the river behind the restaurant and they kindly let us park there while we went fishing and were very polite and informative.

Juan & Marcela were great! I was visiting my grandmothers and we had their special of the day (bistec encebollado with sides: yellow rice, black beans & maduros). We took it to go, it was your typical Latin portions (container stuffed with food), more than enough for leftovers. I also highly recommend you try their cafecito, I prefer it sweet but you can get it regular or without any sugar. A must have if you’re ever in town.

I am a huge fan of authentic Cuban food and this hidden gem is absolutely perfect. The owners are incredibly friendly and the environment is cozy and warm. Food is perfect and will be returning soon with the family.

This is the best restaurant in Sparta. I got the veggie burrito, my husband got veggie enchiladas, and my 9 month old ate rice and beans and everything was delicious. We also got the plantains as an appetizer and those were great. Portions are huge and the atmosphere is really nice, you can see the river. Staff was very friendly.

Absolutely some of the best TexMex/Latin/Cuban food you can get anywhere! They have 3-4 specials each day that are not on the menu that are always fabulous! The specials are all served with black beans or pintos, rice, side salad and tortillas. Fantastic chips, homemade salsa and hot sauce also awesome! And super nice owner/operators!

The best food ever, I would go everyday if I could. They are extremely clean and fresh! The people who run it are the most genuine, sweet, caring and thoughtful people! I left my debit card and she went out of her way to make sure i got it back. And to top it off, their food is amazing, full of flavor, reminds me of home (Miami), You just can't stop eating. It's family owned and I love that! They are all hardworking and such sweet people! I would recommend to everyone...yummy cuban sandwich

The whole family, 14 of us, ate there Saturday November 25. We may have overwhelmed them with a single party so large, but they overwhelmed us with great service and fantastic food! They also have the greatest sandwich in the world, but more about that later!

If I was on death roll, this would be where I would want my last meal to come from. This place is absolutely amazing and so affordable. I cannot express how much I love this place! I would 10/10 recommend. Best place to eat in Sparta NC
