The staff was very friendly from our walk in the door. You have outdoor and indoor dinning. The Catolina burger was incredible and it had fresh hamburger meat. The house chips were not greasy. My wife got Cranberry-Pecan chicken salad croissant was delicious. They also have desert area with homemade deserts and they taste incredible. Then to top it off they have a gift shop.

One of my favorite places to eat since I moved to Shelby some months ago. Burgers are fantastic--probably as good as you can get locally. Parking is hit or miss, but there are a few places within a block or so, but nothing that is prohibitive. Have eaten here or gotten take out 3 or 4 times, and the food is always good.

There are lots of good lunch choices. I had the chicken taco salad. It was very good. Loaded with greens, chicken, and salsa as dressing. My friend had the cold lunch plate. She had a huge scoop of chicken salad, and 2 sides. She chose fresh fruit. She said it was wonderful. They were friendly and service quick.

Delicious lunch! The food was good quality and the servers were nice. We had the chicken BLT wrap, chicken salad croissant and fries and loved everything. I don’t love that the sides are separate but I’d go back for lunch again

This is a fantastic small hometown place. All of the food was delicious and the staff was super helpful and courteous. I had a philly burger. It was great exactly what I was expecting. The Cowboy burger was also good. The cheese curds coming in the cute little fry basket. Also as for the atmosphere they had really great music playing and the outside seating was full but looked like fun!

Really cute spot with an easy stop on the way to the mountains! Great service. Super sweet staff.
I had the tomato basil soup. It was very good. Nice and hot to warm me up. It was freezing in there. They turned down the air for us though!
I also had the turkey avocado panini. Holy moly it was good. It's pretty big and I wanted to bring half home but I knew it would not be as good later after it got soggy so I ate as much as I could and didn't want to stop. Such a great flavor.
Also had the pasta salad for a side. Definitely didn't need it as I was stuffed! It was ok. A little more seasoned than I would like but overall a nice salad.
We will come again!

A gem in Shelby! Excellent service, thank you Matthew, for your recommendations and timely service. Hot delicious fries, really good potato flavor. My classic chicken salad sandwich was excellent. Croissant was flaky, buttery, good on its own. Reuben excellent. Sweet Cafe atmosphere. They have a store next door with the cutest cards, candy, cookies, other items for sale-a little of everything, I bought two necklaces for Xmas presents. Will definitely return. Thank you all for being here and I appreciate your desire to please. Your establishment is worth the drive!

Such a neat little hidden gem in a small town. My husband, son and I popped in for lunch and the food was so good. I got the Turkey Avocado Panini and my husband got the chicken salad on a croissant. All good was super fresh and made to order and even had to get some fresh squeezed lemonade to go. I regret I was so full I didn't have room for their parlor style ice cream! The staff was awesome and some of the best service I've received in months!

Get in my belly! Yummy 😋 in my tummy! Food was excellent! Pimento cheese was off the hook!

I don't often give this high of a rating. Pfeifer's has really hit the mark in all categories! Don't miss the bakery! And check out the gift shop. What a great place to visit!

At the top of my list for a simply great place to eat in Shelby with high quality food, extremely attentive servers and the charming, clean surroundings. Always impresses my out of town guests, where we enjoy an inviting sidewalk table and usually include an easy, convenient stroll around the beautiful town square that this cafe well compliments!

6 stars aren't an option so you'll have to settle for 5! Southern charm runs throughout this classy cafe. The chicken salad croissant was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was Arthur and he is tremendous. We can't wait to return.

Enjoyed sitting outside (they also have indoor seating). The turkey avacado panini was tasty and the fried okra were just right.

Forgot to take a picture, but I can assure you there was nothing left. I had the chicken and dumplings and pasta salad for a side. Even with takeout, the food was nice and hot and VERY filling. This was my first time here and I can't wait to come back!

This was our first time eating here and it did not disappoint. We had the chicken salad on a crescent roll, it was great! We will be back!

I stopped here yesterday with my mom and sister and wow! The flavors, the clean and beautifully decorated interior, the attention to detail by our waitress, all combined to give us an outstanding experience! We will most definitely be back soon! I ordered the Turkey/Avocado Panini with a side of amazing tomato basil soup. My mom choose the tropical salad and sister ordered the delicious chicken n dumplings! She commented she could tell they were cooked fresh! Check this little hidden place out and I know you won’t be disappointed!
