I really loved this place! We had amazing food as well as an amazing waitress! They had an 4oz burger an 8oz as well as a 16oz [a whole pound] and it was really good! I went here as a kid and the place holds many memories! Place is nice, neatly decorated, and certainly a place to stop by if your on an empty stomach because trust me, they'll make sure your take care of!

What a fun destination. I have been riding down here for well over 20 years. Looks like they quit selling their buffalo and long horn meat, but the food is still good. If you order the Meers burger make sure you are hungry. It's a 1lb burger served in a pie pan. Make sure to come early, the lines to get in can get pretty long about noon.

My wife and I love this little place we stopped in there before going to the casino. It is really cool and I mean that seriously their heater wasn’t working well but hey, the price you pay for good food the hamburgers and cheeseburgers were delicious. We’ll go back.

They have some great delicious looking burgers over there, especially the atmosphere represents the old-school western style of the countryside of Oklahoma.

If you love old historic cafes that have nothing in common with the common franchise or chain store then this is the place for you.
Or, if you like the homemade burger cooked exactly like you love it and that makes your tastebuds dance with joy, git here NOW!
Make sure you do not finish your burger so you can finish off your meal with warm Cobbler that has a massive amount of vanilla ice cream on top.
I swear I heard angels singing.

Nice little historical restaurant by whitcha mountains. The usually are packed with a line. The food I s worth it, it was alot better then I was thinking. The service as as best ad they could be with the amount of customers and the amount of staff. But there is plenty of things to look at to keep you entertained.

I had been to this restaurant many years ago and finally was able to return and enjoy the food here yet again. I was, however, disappointed to find that they are not the same as I remembered. When I visited previously, they had the unique experience in which you were able to cut your own steak from the larger piece and you payed for it by the pound! They had a display case with meats for sale etc. now, it is basically the restaurant and they mostly serve burgers of one form or another with a few other items.

All of that said, what they did serve was every bit as good as what I recall! Our burgers were cooked as requested, with ample toppings and they were correct as ordered. The potato wedges were good and they came with plenty of gooey cheese, not a skimpy amount!

The service was good and the facility was as expected. Since it was intended to look like an Old West place, it was right on cue with the worn wooden railings, steps etc and the old license plates, signs, and other memorabilia fit right in!

Pricing had gone up a lot since last time but was competitive for what you get. Our Seismic Meer’s Cheeseburger was a full pound burger for $16.95 so there were no complaints since most places don’t even have a burger that big!

The food is good, but I wish the hours were updated here on Google or on their Facebook page. The winter hours are somewhat limited making Meers a lunch place rather than a dinner restaurant. The burger was tasty and well worth the drive/wait.

This place is rich in history and hasn't change much when I visited for their famous burger over ten years ago. I kinda like that the restaurant maintained its rustic feel but leaking ceiling could have been fixed.

With a party of eight, it was good that we arrive before the line started to form. Wanda was the host and waitress and was politely explaining that the wait will be long before many of their staff was out sick.

Wanda was friendly and cheery despite being swamped. She got our drinks and order in as quickly as she could; all the while smiling and not making us feel rush.

Our burgers, sandwiches and sides were tasty and those cobblers (with ice cream) were a great way to wrap up the meal.

Wanda, our dining experience has been made so much sweeter with your professionalism and calmness (despite being understaffed) as we wrapped up a blessed getaway in Medicine Park.

It has been way to long since I had a Meers Burger. I ate entirely too much food, but it was worth it. The fried okra is delicious and crispy. And the cobbler is a must. This historic location never lets me down!

If you love history and great burgers, you will love this charming place. Tin stamped ceilings, written messages on the walls. The base of our table was a pedal sewing machine and the floors rolled with age. The longhorn cattle burgers were wonderful. Longhorn Cattle were at the brink of extinction not long ago and this restaurant has their own herd they consciously use, which is lovely. Sorry we were too full from an earlier breakfast to try the homemade ice cream and hot peace cobbler! Next time…

Best burger I've had in a long time and very well priced. My mom used to come here as a kid with my grandparents, so glad she introduced it to us

This is the genuine original burger and fries place, as they probably all were before the fast food chain restaurant killed it. Must go!

Meers Store and Restaurant is like taking a step back in time for a good old-fashioned burger experience. We had the 8 ounce burgers, and I had fries while my husband had potato wedges. My sister and her husband ordered 8 ounce burgers with fried okra and onion rings. We all absolutely enjoyed our lunch and will 100% cone back. Be sure and bring cash because they do not accept cards. Although I think there's an ATM machine available.

Really cool place in the middle of nowhere between Lawton and Oklahoma City. Started out serving the mining town of Meers in the early 1900s, been going strong since. Beef comes from their own herd of longhorn cattle. The menu is currently limited due to Covid related staffing issues, but the burgers they are known for are still there and still amazing. There is very often a wait to get in, but it is very much worth it.

Came here back on 06 when I was stationed at Sill. Came back 17 years later, and the food tasted the same. My waitress was awesome. 110% recommended. Bring cash. ATM is on-site

Had lunch here with my wife after her father recommended it to us. He was stationed at Ft. Sill in the late 1970s and said the burgers and pies were incredible. He was right.

Great food and great service (Thank you, Madison!)

Fantastic burgers! The fries seem to be a thin frozen fry. You would think a place like this would have homemade fries. They are not great but not bad either. Burgers are huge, juicy and fresh! I'll be back for those! The "frickles" fried bread and butter pickles, were ok. Nice crunchy crust but I prefer fried dill pickles. But worth a try!

We had such a great experience here. The old school atmosphere is so cool and the staff was very friendly. The burgers sides didn’t disappoint- super fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend taking the time to stop by and try it out.
