The building has been there a while and still has the old telephones on the table, that you used to use to call your order in' but no longer used after Covid. They are cleaning on this place continuously, while you are in there. The chicken fried steak and bake potato is a favorite but the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich is also a winner

The food was delicious!! The service and people are super friendly! Love the atmosphere! The fried okra!! The best we have had! The chicken fried steak sandwich is the best in the universe! Hands down! We will definitely be coming back anytime we are here!

It's still great. You can't say that very often anymore. I get a steak sandwich at least once a month. I'm sure I would go more often if I didn't live 80 miles away.

Outstanding food and very quick. Very reasonable prices, and the service was both fast and friendly. I eat here every weekend and it never gets old. Also a favorite of several friends of mine. Can't go wrong with Chuck House!

Never go against the best Chicken Fried Steak in the Universe! I kid you not I was in the Walmart parking lot asking my wife where she wanted to eat - oh yes we went though all of the places nearby.

Absolutely nothing - what's a husband supposed to do? Suggest the Chuck House! Yeeesssss!

So a short drive later we're ordering. The meal was cooked promptly and she was happy & satisfied! Wow mistakes do happen in short notice!

Nothing can beat a Chuck House Chicken Fry. We obviously don't go here often enough but when we do we leave happy!

Omgosh people you have have to visit this place. Their food is absolutely amazing and their service is excellent! They also have happy hour which I get excited about, because they have the good crunchy ice. Those that like crunchy ice so get it! Not to mention the portion size but really the most important thing is the food is great!! This place is my WOW factor!!
So again today I made a visit to get the large drink at half price and decided to try their Tater Kegs. It consists of 4 large tater tots stuffed with cheese, bacon and chives served with a side of ranch. No small ranch either. 😱 Omgosh! So dang good I ordered 2 more large orders to go and will have them as snacks for the football game! If they last that long!! I found a new addiction..yummy yummy yummy!

Ordered the #1- classic steak sandwich with fries.
The service was fast- my food was fresh and hot. Nothing felt greasy. Absolutely devoured that sandwich! Great flavor! The breading was bang-on!

First of all let me just say their chicken fried steak is the best. It's like somebody took the cube steak beat it down, flowered it up, dipped it in some buttermilk and then fried it. I didn't even have to use salt. Every time I took a bite, The flavor was there. You know how sometimes you get full off of food that doesn't taste good to you before you can finish the meal. Well, this was not the case here. I finished my entire plate it was that good. We asked for the okra to be cooked extra crispy and it was. The service was phenomenal!!! Rayburn was great from beginning to end. Priced Right and nice sized portions. I asked for half strawberry Fanta and half lemonade and it was mixed just right. And we ordered a large and those cups were absolutely large. I mean Rayburn made you feel like you were at home, not at a diner. The environment was peaceful, quiet and it smelled nice. Don't waste your money at IHOP or any other corporate restaurant that claim to have chicken fried steak when they're giving you a chicken patty. The next time we'll be trying the peach pie ala mode and their steak sandwich. Stop by the Chuck house and try a meal for yourself and give your own reviews. You won't be disappointed.

Why is it so good here? Classic, sweet environment, think old diner you see in movies, not the style, just the vibe. Nice, quiet place to have some really good home-feeling food. This is where you don’t leave without feeling full, order whatever you want, results won’t change, you’ll leave full trust me. I ordered biscuits and gravy with a chicken fried steak sandwich, YUM! And finally, to top it off with, personally a favorite to try, the fried okra. If you like you’re fried okra, green and bright, fresh looking, under a thin and crisp layer of fry, you’re looking at the right restaurant. I had a whole serving of delicious fresh fried okra here and didn’t have a greasy film left over on my tongue! That’s right, I hope you don’t like you’re okra soaking in grease because this isn’t the place for that artery clogging nonsense. And I’d like to leave a 5 star review on the lovely waitresses that were there. I accidentally spilled a drink and the waitress working the counter, very kind and understandingly cleaned up for me. I know usually you have to act happy no matter what in a job, but she seemed sincere and she was taking care of my bs for me. Come here prepared to tip! After your meal you will be happy too :)

I had a country fried steak sandwich with fries...I'm totally ADDICTED ..I hit the drive thru every Saturday...made the mistake of going to "a very popular restaurant" for a sandwich and was completely disappointed...CHUCK HOUSE is the ONLY spot I'll got to...tender steak with perfect seasoning...see you guys Satirday🤩

This is my favorite place for chicken fried steak. The prices are more than fair. They don't charge a super high price for it. I am weird and don't eat gravy on mine. But, it allows me to get a better idea of the taste of the chicken fried steak and the quality vs just the gravy making up for mediocre chicken fried steak. Try this place it is definitely worth it.

We absolutely love Chuck House! It was the perfect meal for a cold, rainy day. My hubs and I had the chicken fried steak dinner, and our son had the chicken fried steak sandwich. We had the coconut creme pie for dessert. The pie had real meringue topping. That was perfect!

The booths are pretty small. The standard booth size was a lot smaller when this restaurant was built. 🤣😔 We watched almost every customer try to sit in a booth, and they didn't fit! There are tables and chairs that seem to fit everybody. This is the only thing I'd change about this restaurant. The food and service are great! The salad bar was fresh. The restaurant was very clean. I didn't go in the bathroom there, so I can't comment on that. Go to Chuck House! The food is delicious!

i ordered chicken fried steak burger and fried okra. was delicious and felt like a distinctly southern country meal. also had a sweet tea with my number one combo and it was very good sweet tea.

Love their food and the garlic dressing is to die for. You will never be disappointed. We drive almost 100 miles to eat there at least once a month.
