We enjoyed, we did get to see some prairie dogs, including some babies. Vast open space of the landscape was awesome.

First time to see prairie dogs and it's free for viewing. Just follow the rules to save lives and for your own safety.

DON'T GO THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO SEE PRAIRIE DOG-According to the park ranger, all the prairie dogs used to live here were dead from disease last winter break. I went there yesterday and it was nothing there.
But you can see some prairie dog at HOLY CITY or you can go to Lawton- Elmer Thomas Park- TONS OF PRAIRIE DOGS- they are everywhere in this park.

This is a spot in a massive wildlife refuge. The prairie dogs were nowhere, but the Bison were everywhere in prairie dog town.

Probably my favorite part of the Refuge. There are some mornings like not to feed the prairie dogs there's a $250 fine. It is so much fun make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get out of the car and watch them .....also drive slow coming up to the area because they do scoot across the road.

Was so cool to be able to see them up close. No cages, no protective glass just them in their natural environment. Got to see some buffalo too about 50 yards out just amazing especially with the natural beauty that surrounded almost every scene.

Better to go later in the day when it's not so hot out. They are so cute! Could watch them for hours.

This is a pretty neat area with hundreds of very vocal prairie dogs all over. This is a great place to bring younger kids and family members visiting the area for a BCT/AIT graduation. There are a lot of trails you can hike around this area as well. If you are out at the Refuge, I highly recommend stopping by and seeing these little fellas!

It's a must see place in Oklahoma, just because how great is the nature. Wildlife Conservation is taking care of the place very well, clean, neat, you can always get advise and guidance from the visitator center.

Awesome spot in the park, lots of prairie dogs for photos. Just please mind your kids and don't have them throw stuff at the animals!
