Goodwin Melissa DO

She's truly amazing. After I had my oldest in 2010, I got Melissa in 2012 and have had her for my other 3 pregnancies + 2 miscarriages. She will listen to you about any questions/concerns you may have. She takes her time with you and does things right. She cares about how you feel and what's going on. I had a baby 2013, another 2014, miscarriage 2017, miscarriage 2018, then finally our rainbow 2019 and she was literally every step of the way. She took every precaution was super cautious and did many ultrasounds & betas just to make sure our rainbow was safe and still alive. A year later in 2020 she is the one who did my Bilateral Salpingectomy. It went so smoothly I went home literally right after I woke up. Highly recommend!

Dr Goodwin delivered my first baby and is now overseeing my second pregnancy and hopefully delivering. She is always very professional and takes the time to genuinely listen to my concerns and give me precise answers. She has been very thoughtful and accommodating of personal things going on in my own life as well. Hands down, I think she is the best. Her nurse Jaime is also really awesome!!!

She is one of the best doctor I have ever had. Walked me through everything. She delivered my first child c-section and the scar was barely noticeable. Just recently had a miscarriage, she was very helpful through that. I have had little to no wait time.

She was nice, very professional and informative. She was my OB/GYN and she also delievered my daughter; the day after I delievered, she checked me and informed me on what I should do to help the healing process. On the day I was admitted in, I was developing preclampsia and since I live 15-20 minutes away, she went ahead and admitted me in the hospital incase something happened to me or my daughter, it could be taken care of. Melissa is very good, I recommend her to anyone!!

She always makes me feel comfortable and explains everything in detail for us with our first baby. We are now pregnant with our second and will definitely be using her again. She is very kind and caring.

She delivered both of my babies via C section. I had a wonderful experience with her and her listening to my concerns and her making sure they are taken care of. If I have another baby, I will use her again.

I think she is a very good listener and truly wants to hear what your concerns are, most drs will come in tell you what they think and then leave, but not her. She is an awesome dr, this is my daughters first Gyno experience and it has went well. I would recommend her.

Quick to listen to understand. Not quick to jump at doing something until thoroughly investigated and considered. Asks lots of questions. Friendly, gives her undivided attention when you are directly in her care, even if that means being a bit behind at times, but seems to give that same care to all patients which is what I would hope we would all want. Willing to try numerous options if needed. Quality I like most: she listens to understand.

Had her for my first baby, and I am now with her for my second!

I have seen Dr. Goodwin since Dr. Tyburski left practice and while she was on maternity leave I saw the other Dr. In her practice and now she is dropping me as a patient. Patient's beware

If zero stars were a thing I would give less. Worst customer service rep/front desk receptionist I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. Not only was I berated for not having their preferred insurance/payment type I was also hung up on in the middle of conversation.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Save yourself the heartache and worrying by going somewhere else. This office alone has a staffing issue, as in...staff is unprofessional and rude, to the point of flat out ignoring someone speaking to them, or cutting them off. The nurses and Dr. Goodwin both specialize in blowing the patient off, minimizing genuine health concerns, and making it blatantly obvious that, to them, the patients concerns are a waste of their time. Don't get me started on her non-existent bedside manner. It isn't any better than her in office patient demeanor. And the online list of conditions she "specializes" in is a joke. Because our daughter experienced a variety of those "conditions" throughout her pregnancy, including preeclampsia that was ignored until after delivery, and was never taken seriously! Simple tests were not ordered, and symptoms that were screaming loud were flat out ignored. Everything was classified as "normal". Dr. Goodwin seems to feel as if since she didn't experience it herself during pregnancy, then surely none of her patients are. She is a Malpractice and negligence case waiting to happen.

She didn't listen to my fiancee at all when she complained about her hips hurting her. All she could say is that it was pregnancy pains. Well come to find out after our daughter was born it was not pregnancy pains. She had developed bursitis in both of her hips. Goodwin never had her checkes to see what was causing the pains in her hips. She also didnt care about what we had to say. My fiancee also had signs of preeclampsia and Goodwin ignored the sighs. Goodwin is a malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen. I would not use Goodwin.

Staffing is HORRIBLE I had an appointment they scheduled when i showed up they wanted to reschedule then the staff was Hella rude DONT GOOOO

Literally the worst on if you're having a baby. She's fine if you just need a check up once a year.
