South Lakes Park

Loved the treehouse air bnb. Me and my wife stayed for a few days and we absolutely loved it. Very very private and secluded and scenic.

Very nice park with big playground for kids. Has plenty of open space and a walking/jogging trail. A basketball court is also available. A nice small lake with ducks is part of the trail. The park is nicely kept and maintained with plenty of parking.

Beautiful place to get away and relax with or without kids. My grandson LOVES the park area! The is also a couple of fishing ponds along with some walking trails. Something for everyone in the family.

Very nice park! We just stopped for a travel break and picnic, but looks like there are lots of different facilities. We used a sheltered picnic table and one of the walking trails. There was a nicely designed playground with multiple play opportunities, including some possible ADA accessible items (we didn't check thoroughly, but at a glance). Nice little lake/pond with a pretty bridge. We would stop again for sure!

Me and my little ones love this park! This and Wild Horse Park seem to be the best ones around here that we've found (or been to) I have boys age 7, 2, & 5mo but the two big brothers always have a blast and don't want to leave. It seems really well kept and they have lots of things for different ages. Plus a basketball court, walking loop, soccer fields, and a skate park!

Nice park area with fun slides and numerous activities. Separate area with basketball courts and a skate park. Nice walking paths and a fishing area make the park a very nice place. Also a great place for Pokémon : )

Visited the event center for a vow renewal and it is very nice except for lack of parking. I have been for several events and it is perfect for small- medium gatherings.

A close to home fishing spot. Great place for kids to fish and explore. There are two large ponds, plenty of space to spread out, and one pond has a dock.

Crazy cool slides. There's different playground sections for different age groups. It's got everything... skate park, basketball court, soccer field, playground, fishing lake... quite possibly the best park in OKC.

Awesome park. Very spacious! I went just after dark and felt very safe. I walked my dogs there and it has lots of places for the dogs to get in the water an along the edges of the ponds. Lots of open fields too where I would just run with my dogs. There’s a big playground too that looked pretty extensive. Lots of paved accessible trails and also lots of room to go off trail and just wander and explore. My dogs and I loved it.

Very nice clean facilities and so many options for the kids to run play and explore.

Peaceful and nice scenery here. Good park with play area for children and fishing areas next to big fields with walking paths.

This is a great park with fun for everyone! Great walking/jogging track, skatepark, basketball court, fishing ponds(permit required), clubhouse for events, outdoor pavilions, and a childrens play area.

This was an excellent venue for the 40-60 people in a recently attended event. A kitchen area with a spacious refrigerator and counter space easily accommodated the libations, while the clean bathrooms were accessible and never overburdened.

Parking is fairly plentiful, but access to the venue itself would be easier, for a crowded event, by carpooling, ride-sharing, or using the nearby, smaller lots adjacent to the venue. A few folks attending this event did complain that the directions from Google Maps were a bit misleading, and the road to the venue was confusing, but I didn't find this to be the case at all.

The rental/deposit costs for this venue appear to be reasonable for the quality and amenities on the site. I would definitely recommend this venue, at South Lakes Park, for anyone desiring to host a modest event!

Great place to have a big get together, party or baby shower. The event center had plenty of round tables and extra long rectangular tables. We ended up only needing 12 round tables. Nice bathrooms and a kitchen area. Would definitely recommend especially since the park for the kids was not very far away.

Catching a lot of fish at City lakes park enjoying some good family time

Nice family/pet-friendly park. Paved walkways with dog clean-up stations, playground with equipment, but no splash pads, large pavilion with tables and benches, port-a-potty, fishing.
