Break on the Lake

Highly recommend. Met a great couple at the bar. Great conversation along with our food. We had the shrimp cocktail, wings & grouper bites. Great views. Everything was great. Love being on the water. Captain punch drink was a great fruity drink to start with. Service was great also. If you are in the area, stop by.

Great food! Great atmosphere and service! Also there is sound dampening everywhere which is great if you have sensory issues because it helps the sound not carry as much. There is also outdoor seating.

Had the pleasure of eating a few meals here while vacationing on Lake Greenwood in South Carolina. Friendly staff and delicious food. Great views. Lots of room in the booths. Everything was well made. Get the shrimp and grits with the mimosa flight you wont regret it.

Great food, beautiful view & very friendly staff! Our popcorn shrimp was served fast & was very good! Lots of options on the menu & affordable prices. Loved the view of Lake Greenwood. I would recommend this place & will definitely go back to try different items on the menu.

Food was excellent. I had the Mahi and lake chips which was served very quickly by Tab, our waiter. Tab checked on us throughout the meal ensuring that our drinks were filled, inquiring about anything else we might need. She was super attentive and must have a photographic memory, 'cause she related details about every menu option we discussed with seasoned advice. Tab rocked in her delivery of service along with her outgoing, friendly attitude and personality. There was a gentleman roaming around from table to table and he always checked on our table as well. TOP NOTCH SERVICE and really good quick food. Thanks! Another thing worth mentioning is that the entire place is clean and spacious with amazingly clean open bathrooms.

Absolutely loved this place! After being turned away by Port Grill because we were wearing motorcycle vests (after riding an hour to have lunch), we were treated like royalty even on short notice with 20 guests in our party! Food was excellent! My motorcycle family will be making repeat visits. Great atmosphere, and the most awesome staff! Jesse was one of the many who made us feel welcome.

Food was good. Loved the view. Service was slow. Probably want go back for awhile. Not somewhere I'd eat every week.

A wonderful break for dinner on my way home. The Salmon with Honey Garlic glaze was prepared just right. The fillet fell apart by fork just right, but the fish was moist... not dried out from overcooking. I chose the side of potato chips, made by the restaurant. They gave a complimentary glass of house wine. Good follow up by my server, Paytin. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit tonight.

Great Bloody Mary. Beautiful view of the lake. Fish tacos were great and so were the onion rings. Very friendly staff and nice clean bathrooms. Thank you Daniel for all the hospitality. If you are near Lake Greenwood, you need to check this place out.

Great menu, food and service was great. We had the Captain's Platter. It was a lot of food and was delicious. To some it may be a little pricy at $30 per plate, but to me it was absolutely worth it. No beach seafood restaurant I've been to recently had been better than this hidden gem in Greenwood, SC of all places!

There's really not words that can express how great this place is but I'm going to give it my best shot. First of all, the building and location is gorgeous. I moved from Raleigh and coming over the lake I was greeted by their beautiful building and thought to myself that I needed to come try them out. After finally getting into my house I took my family up for dinner. I was blown away. The service, the food, the atmosphere, all of it was just amazing. I had the blackened flounder which was just perfect. My wife had the crab cakes, which were outstanding! My brother finished his meal with a blueberry cobbler cheesecake... you may be asking yourself, "why had nobody thought about that?" Yeah, me too. But it's amazing. If nothing else, go get that. Our Server was attentive, my drink never got close to empty, our food was prompt, and everyone was so courteous. I'm so thankful to live in a city that has a place like this, one that I'm genuinely excited to bring people to. I'm sorry about the pic, I wish I'd gotten a before but when that smell hit my nose I couldn't stop myself. You'll understand when you go.

Fresh prepared crab cakes yummy sauce, Special Mango 🥭 margaritas 🍹 you can't just drink one. Shrimp n Grits to die for. Ribeye STEAK tounge tantalizing, PILE OF onion rings CRISP ON OUTSIDE & PERFECT INSIDE DONENESS. SERVICE OUTSTANDING. THANK YOU TAE!!!!

The salmon was delicious, and so were the cat fish bites. The setting was also incredibly nice being able to look out over the lake while dining on the patio. Our server was also upbeat and cheery the whole meal. Solid place to get food with the family

Everything was great. Brittany our server fantastic. Good superb- fresh seafood grilled and blackened. Love them Lake restaurant. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite places to eat. Low key, casual atmosphere. The food is always delicious and service is impeccable. Tristan is phenomenal. After a long stressful day it's so relaxing to go and sit by the lake and unwind. Can be a bit pricey but most of the time very worth it.

We come here for date night as a treat! Tonight was great as usual. Crab cakes and scallops were wonderful. The fried scallops are oh so juicy. They will make sure you are happy if there are any issues.

Great food and atmosphere on beautiful Lake Greenwood! They don’t take reservations so I was advised to arrive early to beat the crowd. Arrived shortly after 5 pm and no wait. Outdoor dining has live music. You can arrive by boat or car. I had pan-seared mahi-mahi with lake fries and veggies- very tasty! My husband had catfish and grits- also excellent! After dinner we walked out on the dock. Great experience!

Wonderful location, great atmosphere. Food was very good. We got the fried chicken and catfish from the Sunday special. Total bill was under 30.

We ate outside on the deck and enjoyed a great view of Greenwood Lake.

I took my beautiful wife out for her birthday because I know she would enjoy her dinner. While there, I ran into some old colleagues I hadn't seen in a couple of years, ok including my old boss, my mentor, my friends.
This particular night she ordered the Buffalo chicken salad w/TNT sauce & Ranch dressing. I had the Captain's platter w/shrimp, catfish and scallops.
She ate everything but the tomatoes and I don't blame her, neither of us likes 'em. See, we're made for each other, enjoying our 21st year together. Anyhow we both finished our meals & with full bellies, proceeded our way home to give her what she wanted, sleep!
