Their food is just as good as it gets, with prime rib being my favorite! But I have never ate something at Lady Amelias that I haven't liked.

Driving through the area I discovered this gem. I decided since the wife and I enjoy bed and breakfast from time to time we would come down and give it a try. To say we have enjoyed our time is and understatement. It's definitely a step back in time as you walk through the front door. Is gorgeous on the inside to say the least. The grand staircase it the draw of my attention. The wood work is simple but eloquent. Rooms are warm and cozy as well. Of the many we have frequented, this will be on the top of the list. The restaurant is just a great big bonus to the home. It's out back and the food is marvelous. I will promise this, if your looking for a break from the hustle and bustle, a place to wind down like us, This definitely Is the place. The owners are the best, of all the places we have started 😁.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. I had visited Lady Amelia Bed and Breakfast late last summer with my husband for lunch and we absolutely loved it. Our meal was outstanding ( Coquille St. Jacques ) and the proprietors were warm and welcoming, so much so, we spent as much time visiting with them as we did eating our delicious meal!
I revisited for lunch with two of my girlfriends and once again, I was delighted, as were my friends.
We visited the gift shop, beautifully appointed with unusual items and antiques. We ALL found treasures to take home!
Lunch was amazing. We had French onion soup, with a hint of sherry and it was heavenly. My friends enjoyed Ceasar salad with blackened chicken, I had it with blackened shrimp. Fabulous. We saved room for dessert... carrot cake and a chocolate and raspberry confection...both unusual and not overly sweet. Fabulous again.
I will most definitely be back!

What a relaxing space to land after a long day driving! Our room was lovely, and our hosts very friendly and accommodating. Guests should know that the upstairs bathrooms are not ensuite. Icing on the cake was the attached restaurant, which was low lit with soft, romantic music. Good food as well.

What a hidden gem. While in Greenwood we just happened to stop by to see if we could catch dinner. This was the highlight of our time in the area. Really nice people, fantastic food, excellent atmosphere. Highly recommend you put this one on the top of your list when you are in the area. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Last evening we had one of the best meals we've had in years at Lady Amelia's restaurant. They made a special meal for my wife's birthday - her favorite dish which she has not had in over 30 years, veal almondine. I ordered off the menu and both meals were absolutely excellent.

Thank you for such a special meal on my wife's birthday!

Wonderful place almost hidden in the South Carolina small town of Cross Hill. Beautiful 1800's home which has been converted into a Bed and Breakfast with a separate Restaurant and Antique/Gift Shop. The food is unique and delicious with a French flair. We had our 30th Wedding Anniversary party at Lady Amelia's when it first opened and have been regular patrons ever since. You should not miss this gem !

Lady Amelia is a beautiful and historic home built in 1894. It features warm and inviting rooms which are all located on the second floor. Whether you want to Shop, Fish, Hunt, Golf or just relax you'll be delighted.

We also have a beautiful restaurant located in the back of the house for Lunch and Dinner which is open to the public and is featured in a lovely nostalgic red barn, which also includes a charming Gifts & Antiques shop.

We have an array of delicious meals
while our specialty is Fondue and Raclette.
