Very beautiful place. The campground has a gate that they lock from 10 pm - 6am. There is also a police officer that patrols. You definitely feel safe camping there in a tent. Only problem we had was that the teenage kids that were there camping had no respect for anyone. There language was awful and there was one that would fly thru our campsites on a bike. He didn't watch out for any of the small children. But other than that it was a wonderful place to camp and we will be going back.

They are always in good spirits when you come through the door. I'm not talking about the drinking kind either. Lol Good people.

This campground is super nice. The sites are for the most part right along the waters edge. Jeff the park attendant is a super nice guy and is very helpful.
We really enjoy this place.

Dale Hollow lake is one of the cleanest lakes in Tennessee. There are plenty of things to do there with the marina that Rents Houseboats, Cottages, ETC.. A Fun Place for the Entire Family to Enjoy with BBQ GRILLS THROUGH OUT THE PARK, SANDY BEACH AREA, A KIDS PLAYGROUND for little ones. THERES NO PLACE BETTER.

Super nice, quiet, clean campground. Booth attendant was helpful and accommodating. Had a free use washer and dryer for campers, and camping sites were spacious and level. Nice beach and swimming.

Beautiful clean campground. Most sites have a great view of the lake. Spacious and well kept. The folks working the gate were always friendly. Just 2-3 minutes from town yet still secluded.

They have a couple of decently sized playgrounds that my grandchild loved playing on. One of them was adjacent to a man made sand beach which also was a popular place for her to play. There were very few kids there while we were there but I could see these areas being full of happy kids in the summer months. She still had a blast even playing mostly by herself.

Would for sure stay at this campground again and have no problem highly recommending it.

Great campground! Has wonderful day use area complete with swim area full of sand. There are areas to gather for eating and relaxing, each with an outdoor grill. A lot of shade provided by beautiful trees. There is also a place to put your boat into the water. Sunset Marina is connected complete with a restaurant and general store. Dairy Queen, Dollar General, Farmhouse Restaurant are all within a few minutes drive. I loved the campground.

Beautiful and clean. Great road to get to campground (Hwy 111) Nearby grocery, restaurants, and convenience stores for supplies. Great campsites on the water provide easy access for kayaks, floats etc. Nice an quiet Bathhouses could use some updating. The attendants do enforce the rules, so I suggest you read them, but this is why it is such a nice place to camp. I have been coming to this lake for over 40 years and this is by far my favorite campground for camping.

Wonderful campground, large camper sites, convenient boat ramp and beach nearby. Staff friendly and welcoming - Lisa and Jeff were very polite (mentioned commonly in negative reviews). Though possibly needed, kind of stood out to me, that the local sheriffs department creeps through multiple times a day up until closing (10PM for the gate), so be sure to keep your alcohol in unmarked containers. Side note: no ice sold on site, nearest ice vendor is up HWY 111 a mile or so.

We love, love, love this campground. The staff was friendly, it was quiet and the campsites were clean. The over all campground was well kept. The only problem that we had is that there was no accessible ramps to the bathrooms near the camp site that we were at #115. We had to go to the bath house over at #123 in order to get my special needs son in the bathroom. Even so the place was great!!

This is an amazing campground. Our family loves that the campground attendants and volunteers are so friendly and work so hard at keeping the campground family oriented and alcohol free. If you are looking for a great place to camp with your kids we recommend it. We drive an hour and half to get there several times each summer and have always had a great time.

Great Army Corps of Engineers campground. Like many others, it could use some maintenance, especially the bathhouses. Beautiful lakefront sites with water & electric hookups, clean lake, marina within walking distance, nice sandy beach area. Warning- watch out for dog feces when in grassy areas, we saw quite a few people letting their dogs run around freely, not leashed and not picking up their dog’s feces.

Wonderful place to take the camper. Campsites on the water for easy access with kayaks and fishing. Level concrete pads. Upon check in we were greated by a nice woman who checked us in. She gave the kids suckers and coloring sheets and crayons. Can't wait to go back.

Favorite place to hang in the summer. Beautiful sandy beach and swimming area with so many waves (lots of boat traffic) that you'd think you were at the ocean. $5 per vehicle day pass and plenty of picnic tables with grills - just make a day of it! When you're done great over to Sunset Marina for some hand dipped ice cream!

Nice large Corp of engineer RV park (that means seniors with a federal parks pass get a 50% discount on camping) right on the obey river (part of the Dale hollow dam system). Very few sewer sites but a dump station available and sufficient clean bathrooms. You can launch watercraft from an area in the camp or you can rent pontoons at the large marina next door. The campground is pretty much full on weekends but still doesn't feel crowded.

Had the very furthest campsite. Surrounded by water on 2 sides. Very peaceful section of a pretty large campground. Fishing takes center stage here it seems. I caught a lunker off the bank, morning fishing by the camp. Couple convenient stores in the area for food, gas and needs. Tent camping ,but needed the electric for a small heater. 38⁰ !
