Sadly I have needed the help before with needing food for my family during hard times. Not something I like to tell everyone. Normally I would leave there feeling good about the fact that there are people out there that care to help but today was different. I literally left there crying because of how I was treated. I understand there are guidelines to go by but this isn't my first time there and all I did was ask for help. There were two ladies there that were very snappy toward me and I understood they couldn't find me in the system and I explained that my name is now different from the last time I was there due to getting married. I expected them to know what to from there but instead treated me as if they couldn't help the fact they couldn't help me. So I asked what is the difference in me asking for help and someone new because I didn't know what they were wanting me to say or do. They both had attitudes right away and putting there hands up and getting loud with me as if I were trying to make a scene. I just wanted to know what do I do now in order to get help. My ID was given back harshly and it slid off the table onto the ground. She then slammed a piece of paper on the table and said here fill this out so I did. So then she starts bringing food out to me which I am grateful I got the help. I truly am but she kept an attitude the rest of the time and I felt like a bother to even ask a question there on. I left there very upset and honestly don't want to go back there again. I shouldn't be afraid or feel like I can't ask for help. I mean that is what they are there for right? Supposed to be a helpful community?
