This farm was awesome. The tour guide was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the baby goats, so soothing and relaxing. Feeding the animals was fun. The gift shop offered items made at the farm such as goat soap, cheese, ice cream, snacks and drinks. They offered a guided tour of the farm by wagon. I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing weekend trip.

We did the Farm Tour and the Goat Cuddling and it was the most fantastic thing ever! The property is absolutely gorgeous and well kept, and the staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. We did our tour with Jill, who was incredible. She explained all the different areas to us and how they milk the goats. We even got to milk Perry!

Once that was completed, we had our Charcuterie board which was out of this world! We went back and bought four of the goat cheeses, even though we wanted to buy all of them they were so good!

Our tour concluded with Anne and our goat cuddles which was my favorite part. Ezmerelda was mine and Harley was my husband’s and they were just the sweetest babies!

Don’t wait to book this experience, do it now! It was so fun and tasty, we will definitely be back! We can’t wait to see everyone again! Thank you for such an incredible experience!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The grill is amazing, the tour was very informative, the emus/goats/pigs/cattle are adorable. The ice cream is something to dream about! The chocolate especially is so light and tastes like a much more pleasant Wendy's frosty. It is so yummy and it does not upset my stomach (can't eat dairy).
After the tour we got to try samples and cuddle the goats! I cuddled Presley, who was 3 days old. Oh my goodness, I put him asleep twice by just holding him close and petting him.
This is not our first time visiting and showing our support for Harmony Farms and it will definitely not be our last. We love this place! They were out of their Chevre cheese because the momma's are pregnant (yay)! But, we will be back for some cheese, sausage, hamburger, and more goat cuddles & emu brushing soon ❤
I wish I had gotten some pictures of the babies, but I was too busy holding them!

"Goat Mom" Katie gave us a great tour and explanation of all the interesting things that happen at this Grade A goat dairy farm, one of only four in the state of Tennessee. Really nice to see such a thoughtful business having success in this part of my home state. Stick around for lunch and try their home--grown menu items. Delicious!

My family loved our visit to Harmony Lane Farm during our vacation this week. This was our favorite event of the week. We loved seeing and learning all about the goats and the baby goat cuddling is the best! Anyone visiting the Smithville, TN area needs to stop here and hug an emu, cuddle a baby goat, and so much more!

This was a great place to take my 3 yr old and 5 yr old! We took the farm tour, ate lunch there with farm fresh beef hamburgers and fries (both 10/10), and got to try about 8 or 9 different kinds of goat cheese, ate some of the best ice cream ive ever had, made with goat milk. We even got to milk some goats and hold/cuddle the little baby goats. They also have whey-fed pigs, pork (food), and natural soap and lotions made from goat milk. The people that run it are super friendly and really know their stuff! If you are looking for something special, educational, or just different, to take your kids to.... I highly recommend Harmony Lane Farm and creamery. Call first to see whether or not you will need a certain time slot depending on what all you want to do.
This place is truly amazing, and I will be back!

This place is incredible. My husband and son surprised me for my birthday with a tour and day at this beautiful farm. It was one of the most memorable days that I will cherish forever. The property and farm is impeccable. Julie, the owner, is a breath of fresh air and is passionate about her farm. We learned so much! Her team is also well-trained and helpful. The experience is worth every penny, and a LOT more! We even got to milk a goat! I loved every single moment of our day there. We hung out for a long time after the tour at the beautiful pavilion, had a delicious lunch, then cuddled the baby goats. Holding a one day old baby goat was one of those precious moments you won’t ever forget. We splurged on the charcuterie board and were so happy we did. We were able to taste their delicious goat cheeses and fudge. I felt like a Queen the day. She left me a beautiful birthday gift at the farm shop to make my day even more special. It was so thoughtful! I 1,000% recommend a visit (multiple visits) this farm! Their goat milk soap products are incredible and their goat milk cheese and treats are extra special and tasty!

Loved, loved, loved our time out on the farm. What Julie has done for the animals, the community, her family and herself is INSPIRING! (And in just 12 years). Being enlightened and learning of Julie's level of dedication towards doing what is ethically healthy and right for all was a warming surprise. It was more than your typical farm tour.
Every one, all parties, all ages, wore smiles! Participation was encouraged from every age and questions were welcomed! Interacting with the animals was a priceless experience. And so many different animals! We were there when a goat gave birth...who else can say that? Even though it is mentioned as part of the tour, the sampling of goat products was another cherry on top! It was way more than expected! We were able to enjoy samplingd of several cheeses, carmel and fudge! Wow! We were taken aback by how yummy the sampling were! On a side note, our oldest has Celiac disease and wasn't going to be able to sample the cheeses, BUT Julie noticed and had a Gluten Free sample plate brought out for him! We ended up purchasing cheeses, eggs, fudge, the I-Am-Addicted-To caramel, a few soaps and a Harmony Lane Farm T-shirt I proudly wear!

A note ... our 21 yr son commented this would be a great date place! Score Big Points!

A warning, for full disclosure.... TIE UP LONG HAIR! I had my hair up in a scrunchy bun and the goats still got to it. I lost a fair amount of hair from being pulled, chewed, ripped out by the goats. Once they stated they where insistent. I had to cut a clump of hair because I couldn't get all the goat stuff & tangle out of my hair. I do have very long thick hair, so once it came down it was an easy buffet for the goats. Personally, I took it as "all part of the experience" and laughed it off, however I can see this not being so funny to everyone. Animals will act like animals, so act like a human and do your part, at a minimum pin up your long hair.

We will be back

The entire experience was a joy! Perfect for little kids and big as well. Took our grandkids, ranging from 2 years to 24 years and had the best time. The staff, the mission of the farm, and the products are all top notch. Highly recommend a visit to Harmony Farms and be sure to talk with Julie, the owner. She is a joy, and then again, everyone was first class!

my daughters (4yrs & 5yrs old) absolutely love animals, especially goats. They were over the moon when finding out that we were going to cuddle baby goats. Harmony Lane Farm exceeded way past any expectations I had. They have the most kind staff. The entire place was beautiful! Highly recommend visiting this Farm.

Cuddling sweet baby goats is so relaxing! You're in a very comfortable, climate controlled room to snuggle a little goat. This farm is so very clean and everyone is so friendly! Definitely worth while!

Amazing “hands on” experience for ALL
ages! Everything from the tour, milking a goat, baby goat snuggles, feeding goats, donkeys, emu, llama, holding a bird, eating under the beautiful pavilion, gift shop….everything has a purpose with your children and family in mind! Very very family friendly!

I had looked this place up on google a week ago, and this weekend we decided to swing down and check it out last minute. It’s definitely a cool little place. The main attraction here is the goats, and the whole operation behind them. They make and sell all sorts of goat milk items as well as sell goats themselves. It’s a pretty good sized operation. It’s a 64 acre farm, all of the grounds and building are very clean and well maintained. You can feed and pet cows, goats, alpacas, donkeys, there’s even some parrots. Bring a packed lunch as there’s no cafe or anything, which I hope they add in the future. If you have little ones definitely give this place a try.

My family and I had an amazing time! The tour was informative and it was exciting to see and learn how the farm works. Katie the Goat Mom was fantastic and made sure to answer any questions we had. The fudge, ice cream and goat cheese were so good, we couldn't leave without taking some home from the store. We are even going to take home a couple of goats!! We will definitely be coming back and bringing more family and friends to share in this wonderful experience. Thank you !!

While visiting my brother in the Smithville area, I thought we’d take the family to Harmony Lane Farm for a small outing. Our tour guard was very friendly and informative. We took a ride on a trolly through the farm and got to visit llamas, emus, and goats close up. Also, at the end of the tour, you get to cuddle and hold baby goats. There are various cheeses and scented goat milk soap you can buy which make unique gifts. I highly recommend this place.

We discovered this gem a couple years ago, and we continue to visit regularly! I’ve taken the tour a handful of times (each time was with people we brought with us for their first visit) and I feel like I learn something new each time.

With the number of times we’ve taken the tour, you’d think my daughters would remember the term “orifice.” However, I always find myself face-palming when the question arises and my girls *really* want to win some fudge but can’t remember the answer… so they give me a pleading look.

No. I never give in. 😆

The highlight is always the goat cuddling! My daughters find so much joy in spending time with the baby goats. I love all the new amenities that have been added (pavilion with restrooms and climate-controlled cuddle rooms). We try to visit each month to see any new babies … and to restock on lotions and yummies! While the cheeses are all great, I find the beef and bacon my must-have purchases!

Julie and her team are amazing and they really have something special at Harmony Lane!

I had the best experience ever here. Our tour guide (forgot her name but she has blonde wavy/curly hair) was so sweet and had so much knowledge about the property. Definitely have/will recommend this to friends and family and will be back. Also, the goat cheese (specifically the Cajun and pumpkin) are to die for!

Wonderful trip for young and old. All the animals are fun and the people and facilities are great. They have a great covered outdoor picnic area with a kitchen that specializes in the goat products. A small shop allows you to purchase tees, lotions, and soaps and goat milk products. Outside, they have a pond with a walk around it and a big swing set for the children. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Pack up the kids and have a great time.
