We were here on 10/12/23.

Pretty cool area! Just an FYI, the road goes from hard top to gravel and it's almost a one lane dirt/gravel road. If you meet someone, somebody has to stop and pull over so the other can pass. You'll also cross over two small wooden bridges.

The bridge is awesome and the view is spectacular. Some of the trees are starting to turn. It wasn't a busy area for us tho there were guys checking out the bridge, making sure it is safe.

Oh! And LOTS & LOTS of poison ivy if you go down the trail to the water. Some of it is starting to trail up a post on the bridge support.

All in all, I give it two 👍👍 up.

The Big South Fork has many lovely places to visit, but the 10 mile dirt road down to O&W Bridge is one of the best. The drive takes you into the heart of the gorge and then the view of the river from the bridge is phenomenal! We were lucky to be down there when it was snowing, which added an entire new layer of beauty.

Hiked here in the a.m. with a friend before heading over to Twin Arches. I cannot remember from which direction we hiked to the bridge but it was a good, moderate hour walk! The Big South Fork area is gorgeous and this two-day trip wasn't enough. Would love to see more of it!

So much fun. Breathtaking views. All of us had a blast. So much to do! So much to see! The people there were very nice and courteous. In most other places, a one lane road is catastrophic, but here, everyone is willing to pull to the side to let you pass. No bathroom, no stores of any kind. No buildings constructed at all.

Great for a lazy day tubing. Super slow water. 4 hours to reach the exit

No restroom, limited parking, and several miles of gravel/mud road. Trail to the creek is quite rocky for those without good balance. Small, sandy beach area. Current was quite swift, so for kids wading isn't advisable too close to the bridge. Beautiful, low traffic place!

Place was beautiful. No cell service, so keep that in mind. Bring bug spray if they bother you, because they're ample.

The bridge and the scenery around it are magnificent. IDK about the road as my wife, 3yr old daughter and I hiked the O&W Bridge trail, which is a moderate hike with steep slippery Rock steps throughout and takes about 3-4hrs roughly there and back. Definitely will be back

Very, very beautiful place. Many spots to camp. Lots of walking/ hiking trails. Also there are a few really great swimming spots. The rapids under the bridge are very beautiful.

The O&W Bridge is a scenic spot to take a break. You might even see some kayakers. I usually hike there and the trail from Leatherwood Ford is a great trail. I went by the road once and it was awful.

So scenic! Also one of the best places to swim. The water is the perfect temperature and quite clear. Take a tube and go down the rapids!
