Austin Heart - La Grange

I just love the professional but warm, friendly atmosphere. Dr. Henderson is always thorough and I never feel as though I'm being hurried through the process. Also, Dr. Henderson always walks me to the front of the office when I'm leaving; a true gentleman!

My husband sees Dr Henderson and he is so kind and attentive. Our wait time to get to room and see the dr was almost none. The nurses and staff are very friendly also and they really put you at ease!

The telemedicine visit was very informative. The doctor explained the next steps and let me know that I would receive two return calls. I for my next cpap visit and one to make a follow up appointment in three months. Thank you Austin Heart for your office in La Grange.

I have been a patient since 2013. My experience with Austin Heart LaGrange has been most helpful. The doctors and staff take the time to listen to my issues and suggest a plan to determine the cause of my issues. I was able to get everything set before I left with copies of my orders in hand. Another very helpful action is the appointment verification email. The week prior to my appointment I received an email with my information, map to location and an added step to add the appointment to my calendar with one keystroke. This added feature is the icing on the cake for me.

I am always happy to see Dr. Burket. He is so caring and pleasant. I was having heart palpitations and high blood pressure and he knew I was scared. He made me feel at ease. He prescribed a medication to help me. I have been on it now 4 days and I am beginning to feel better. He wants to see me back in 3 months.

My father had surgery done at this hospital over 20 years ago when Austin Heart was very new. As his family caregiver, I loved the way they treated him and he did too. Large single rooms, and a large staff ready to take care of his every need.
Now, 20 years later, my husband came to to Austin Heart for surgery. He received the same fabulous care and service as my dad received 20 years ago. Austin Heart Hospital will always be our Hospital of choice. Thank you for your commitment to your patients.

I have been established with Austin Heart since my heart attack in 2005. Dr. Burket has been my Dr. since he arrived and I have never known a more thorough, caring, and friendly doctor. The excellent and friendly staff that make this facility function so smoothly is the reason you will not want any other. I couldn't be in better hands!

I received 2 stents on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Marcos.

This was my initial/follow up visit to Austin Heart La Grange. From the moment I entered the office I was met with courteous, professional, and expert staff.

The nurses were equally courteous, professional, and quite proficient.

Dr. Burket is not only very knowledgeable and experienced cardiologist, he's a good guy. He answered all of my questions in "layman's" language and made sure I understood what was going on with my heart.

This visit to Austin Heart La Grange mirrored my experience with the Austin Heart cardiologists at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Marcos.

All of these folks went to great lengths ensuring I received the treatment and medical advice I needed.

All the staff at Austin Heart-La Grange are awesome. I saw Sarah Martin, NP due to scheduling issues with Dr. Burkett. She was awesome! Took lots of time with me and answered all my questions. You know you are talking to a good person, when they wear a button picture of their sweet dog! My follow up next year will be with Sarah!

This is a very friendly place that is helpful and kind for us that are up in age. All of the Dr.s have been not rushed and take time to talk and give options with my recovery.
I couldn't find add a review so I will add here that my app. with Dr. Selman was great, not rushed and was on time. I am happy with all the Dr.s that have treated me here and with the tech.s on all the testing.

My appointment with Dr. Burket was very pleasant and productive. He is a master at making folks feel comfortable and at home in spite of being in a doctor's office. My entire visit was indeed a rare treat, with all of the office staff very cheerful and helpful.

Both our parents have been patients of many Austin Heart doctors in La Grange. We've had positive experiences with all providers and staff in La Grange. We love the MyChart system for sending messages, changing appointments, etc. It is simple, convenient and response time for inquiries is exceptional.

Dr. Burket and the staff were exceptional . They were both gracious and professional and we left with the feeling of being well treated and cared for. For such a critical position they created a safe place and calmness that hard to explain. If you who read this are dealing with heart issues then you know the seriousness of the need for medical attention. To be able to calm us and take care of us at the same time is special in our experience. Thanks to everyone there. Dr. Burket demostrated much wholeness and maturity when he prayed for me and reminded us that life has a spiritual side as well as a physical one. That was a gracious gift we did not expect .
