The biscuits and gravy don't miss. Reminds me of grandma's gravy, it's so good. They treat you right and fill your belly for more than a fair price. I will be there every morning. Highly recommended! Stop in and try them out.

Small restaurant/dinner with an old school atmosphere. The main attraction is the all you can eat self serve buffet, offering a salad bar, a hot meal bar and some desserts for $10.
The cooked meals are fresh and good.
The desserts are very yummy, I recommend both the peach cobbler and the banana pudding.
The staff was very nice and welcoming.

Perfect place for breakfast before hanging out too Mammoth caves. Variety of food options, being eggiterians, we got something to happy our tummy. Loved the taste n service. Definitely will visit again.

This place doesn’t look like much from the inside outside, but the fried catfish of the best I’ve had. Perfect amount of breading that crisps up nicely, while the fish itself stays tender and juicy. The salad bar has a nice selection, nothing fancy, but enough to make a tasty salad. The pot roast was also really good. Hubby doesn’t like catfish but even he went back for seconds.

Classic diner experience! Quick, fast friendly service. The food was fresh, filling and portion sizes were perfect. I hope I find as much Kentucky hospitality as I did here on the rest of my trip.

Food was all fresh and tasted AMAZING. Desert was top notch. Server was friendly and checked on us actively. Was not super busy or crowded.

A place so nice, we went there twice! This was a very great place to go for a home-cooked style meal. Went there for dinner and got the buffet style meal option. Please, please, please go after the fried catfish. It was absolutely delicious! We were back the next day for breakfast, and we received lovely service followed by a great breakfast with bacon, eggs, potatoes, and toast. It's very filling and great prices for what you get! Kentucky was very awesome and very welcoming. Places like this are a great reason to go back!

Pancakes were absolutely scrumptious. Service is excellent. Dinner was tasty.

1/5/23 - Come here if you want a delectable double cheeseburger 🍔 grilled to heavenly perfection. Curly fries were the best.

1/20/24- My family and I are still supporting this stellar restaurant. We enjoyed a good ol' country breakfast this morning. Order the pork chop and eggs from the menu with a short stack. You will leave a happy, full customer!

Ahh I've never been here before but you can tell the foods home made! A buffet for $11 with a drink?! Amazing! Thank you for feeding us hungry travelers, we'll definitely come back if time permits!

We were extremely pleased to happen on the watermill restaurant. It was a Friday and we had the catfish buffet. Absolutely delicious! The banana pudding and peach cobbler for dessert was amazing. We will definitely be stopping in again.

The best food I've had in a time. Had the buffet and enjoyed everything on it. The Peach cobbler was AMAZING, as was the banana pudding. The service was great. You can't be the price!! I could eat there everyday

My grandfather has told me about this restaurant for several years now. I finally got a chance to join him for some catfish, hot veggies, and some cobbler and banana pudding. It was quite delicious as he described. Will definitely try and get back next time I'm around.

This restaurant is amazing. All homemade food. The 1000s island dressing on the salad bar was the best I’ve had. Fried bologne sandwich- yummy. The buffet had some great looking food too that is all homemade! Sandra our waitress was so sweet. Great place to stop when traveling on 65

One of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!! It reminded me of my childhood with my great grandma and I was so happy. Hands down the best banana pudding and peach cobbler I have ever had in my life!!!!😋

We now make a point of leaving an hour early from Louisville so that we can stop here on our way to Nashville. We've eaten here three times and had excellent service, delicious food (I recommend the buffet,) and a welcoming environment every time. The prices are great as is the variety of dishes. The catfish, the ham, the veggies, the peach cobbler!!!! OH!!!! That peach cobbler!!!!

The breakfast buffet is wonderful! Soft French toast sticks, the most soft incredibly delicious ham and guts made correctly! The servers and cooks all the way down to the dish washer are super friendly. Cracker Barrel and an across highway but this place will always go to.

Plan to spend at least one full day here. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Strollers and electric carts for disabled folks are available to rent. Be prepared to learn that much of what you were taught in school is incorrect. The displays are well researched and the gift shops are awesome. The food and beverages are delicious and reasonably priced. Staff members are polite and helpful. The Ark does a wonderful job of making us re-examine our beliefs. Thank you!

I dont usually review places, but the food here was too good not to! My family ordered the steak and eggs with hash browns, a french toast breakfast with bacon, and the homestyle gravy and biscuits. EVERYTHING was amazing! Definitely coming back!

This was an amazing place. Truly a gem they had delicious food, great portion sizes and the prices were amazing. The restaurant was clean and neat. I would certainly eat here again. It was a bargain and great people.
