Restrite Campground

Nice, clean, well taken care of campground. The bathrooms were fantastic, very roomy and clean, definitely recommend a stay here when visiting the area. We showed up after dark and they still had space available and got us taken care of.

We showed up at 8pm and set up tent after hours. We picked a vacant spot and used the pay envelope to make payment for the spot. I did call ahead but I think if needed you can show up as long as you pay and do t take a reserved spot which are listed on the window of the brown cabin. Sites 11-14 are for tents and most were available. The bathhouse is worth the price of the spot, super clean and warm.

Great RV Campground! Very quiet, impeccably clean, the owners are very nice and helpful. Location is great; 1 mile to Blackwater Falls State Park and half mile to Davis. Can mountain bike or hike half mile away!
Highly recommend staying here.

Very kind and hospitable owners. I cannot thank them enough for being available when I came off the snowy mountain in need of a campsite. The place is clean, friendly and I was glad for the showers, being on a bike packing journey. Thank you so much!

The campground is quiet, clean and nice bathroom and hot shower. It is very well maintained. The price is also very reasonable in the area. It locates right at the entrance to the Blackwater Falls State Park so it is very convenient to visit the surrounding area. I enjoyed the stay.

Great campground. Very nice people, the grounds were clean, very well maintained and had a nice shower facility. Very convenient to a lot of beautiful areas and really reasonably priced. Will happily make this a home-base for any trips into the area. Thanks!

Would like to say bad things about this campgrounds....just to make sure there is always a spot for us when we want to come!LOL. We absolutely love camping here. Owners are super people. They treat you like family. Used to camp at the state park campgrounds....but Rest Rite is sooooo much better!

This is your basic camp ground. Has everything you need. The pros are that it’s far enough from the road that noise is not an issue. And it is immaculately Maintained. I have to say the bathrooms are the cleanest nicest bathrooms I have ever experienced at a campsite, with full showers. They have powered tent sites as well, and firewood for sell.

What a lovely campground. Sites are clean and easy to set up. A walking path has been mowed in a lovely meadow.
This is a smaller campground with lots of privacy.

Totally love this campground! Perfect location convenient to many area attractions! The owners treated us like old friends and the grounds and bath house were pristine! Our dogs loved the trails! Can't wait to visit again!

Absolutely LOVE it here. I Have been going there since I was a kid with my parents. Now my husband and I are there all the time. Wonderful campground, peaceful, clean, well maintained and great owners, you feel right at home and don’t want to leave. This will alway be our second home ❤❤❤

A wonderful campground all around. My husband and I stayed there on our recent vacation and LOVED it! The owners are so friendly and accommodating. They are dog friendly and have nice walking trails cut on the property. Overall a great experience and will definitely stay again!

Wonderful campground. Very quiet and very clean. Just one mile to Blackwater Falls, close to Davis and not far from Canaan. Easy to make reservations with just a simple phone call. The owners are very nice and helpful. We will certainly be staying again!

A wonderful campground. Super clean HEATED bathrooms, was so nice for colder nights and mornings. A very clean, well kept place with a kind owner.

I was blown away by this campground. Stayed here 2 years ago and loved it. Owners are amazing and the bathrooms are immaculately clean. I liked this campground better than the ones inside of the park.

Best campground we’ve been at. Owners are nice and helpful. Your treated like family. The bathhouse is very clean the property is well maintained. The other campers are great. No loud music or crowds. Very peaceful. Can not wait to go back.

This was an excellent campground. Large flat site, excellent utilities, wi-fi, and clean heated bathhouse. Lots of room to walk pets. Empty trash cans several times a day. Very friendly staff who even drove us to Blackwater falls since we were in a motorhome with not other vehicle. My highest recommendation with no reservations!

Great campground. Was riding thru area, had enough of the rain, stopped for the night. Staff was very accommodating for us. Clean grounds, facility, and restroom.
Definitely a return to place.
