Western Texas College

I attended WTC via Distance Education Online (2012-2015) and this past December finished an AS with a Concentration in Pre-Nursing. I have had a couple of issues here and there (mostly with Financial Aid and VA/Hazlewood Benefits) which was not fully the schools fault, but it was nothing extreme or out of the ordinary as anyone would deal with, with any school. But I think with taking courses online, with it being a smaller school therefore a smaller faculty and staff, and trying to catch someone at any given time is just a problem that will occur regardless of school of choice, which was a problem but still manageable and solved by communicating via email. However, I can say that overall the faculty and staff at this school have truly gone above and beyond to help me, as other students to make sure everyone is successful and has a wonderful experience with obtaining their education, and attending WTC. WTC truly is a great school whom has employed wonderful people who love their jobs, offering a decent and affordable education.

The staff at this school is over the top when it comes to helpfulness, being polite, and caring about the students. I've called them 5-6 times with various questions and they have been more than great.

Great school, studied Criminal Justice with them and they have some awesome programs to offer, so you can still be local. Go see what all they have to offer.
