Fountain Place Cinema 8

I like this Theatre very much, I don't think I have ever had a bad visit, my son used to work there between his four years attending Marshall University and he liked working there, I just wish Hollywood would put out more Good Movies like they used too so I could go more often!

I literally do NOT have a bad word/complaint to say about this establishment. Fountain Place Cinema 8 is a nice, clean, and friendly place to enjoy a great movie! This family friendly cinema has this ambience to it that I can't seem to find the words for at the moment (my apologies).

So...go watch a movie, enjoy your time, and have FUN!

Disney movies in 3d at Christmas is becoming a tradition. Next year we will get to enjoy the reclining seats being installed.
Not related but watch WISH it's my favorite Disney movie now. It's amazing!

The only cinema I've been too that allows infinite refills on drinks and popcorn. Seats are nothing amazing but not terrible. Sound and screen quality were what you would expect.

Brought the kids for a change from the usual staring at devices or fighting over remotes, and glad we did. So the place was clean the staff was friendly the movie was great plus get this, FREE REFILLS on popcorn and drinks, so glad too, save us a ton of money 💰 😀 We will be doing this alot more often!

We took our two girl's, 5 yrs old and 7yrs old to watch the new little mermaid movie. We were like 30 minutes late, thank God that we were still able to purchase our tickets and enjoy the movie. The kids love going and they enjoyed this particular movie! But the prices for the movie was 28 dollar's,that was four people two kids and two adults, but they get you with the drink's and popcorn 🍿🥤.for a large popcorn and a small drink and a large drink was 32 dollars now that is definitely, definitely!! Over priced ,if they don't change prices on the drink's and popcorn I will not be going back, that is ridicules.

Not a long wait time and loved the free refills on drinks and popcorn! The comfortable seating and clean bathrooms will put you in mind of coming back again and again.

Awesome little cinema. Can't beat the prices. I choose this place over marquee every time. Prices are great. Free refills on drinks and popcorn, and not only that you get to fill your containers. Wand unlimited butter, take all you want. Always been clean and the staff is always nice and helpful. Marquee might have good seats, but if you want good service and a deal you can't beat, come here.

As you can see, many reviewers absolutely love this theater and for good reasoning. However, a few rate it quite low even though the theater is top notch. I've been to many theaters in West Virginia since going to movies is one of my favorite hobbies to do both by myself and with friends. With this in mind, I can tell you that I have never been disappointed in the cleanliness or the quality of the movie screenings/food; It's always amazing. Also the ads before the movies are quite funny and entertaining and often show trailers for movies being released in the future. There is also a small game area at the entrance of the theater providing a few arcade games such as the claw machine. There are very nice small touches such as a butter machine for popcorn and a cheese machine for nachos. Overall, I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed whenever you come here whether it be by yourself, with friends, or even with your family. Have fun!

Nice friendly staff, you get your own popcorn, with different flavored seasons you can add, and drinks. Free refills. Nice, and clean. Large uncluttered lobby and plenty of actual movie memorabilia to enjoy.

This is by far one of the best movie theaters you can go to in southern WV. I live about halfway between Charleston and Logan, and growing up we almost always went to the Marquee in South Charleston. Ever since Fountain Place 8 opened, we've gone there because it's a newer, nicer, and cleaner facility than the Marquee in South Charleston. Also, the prices are much better at the theater in Logan, so that's always a plus. I haven't been to the theater in South Charleston in a while so I can't remember if they have it or not, but this theater also has free refills on large popcorn and large drinks. I highly recommend this theater.

I love that theater. Nice to be able to get free refills on soda and popcorn. Just don't like idea of knowing people snuck in their own drinks and they're not supposed to...

The popcorn and service here is amazing. That not counting the free re-fills on our drinks. The theaters are outstanding... But there should be workers in them to keep popcorn and things like that from being thrown at other people.

Who doesn't love going to the movie's. I watched the newest John Wick and like always had a very pleasant experience

Awesome place and even better on Tuesday when you get an all day sale price.
