Harmar Tavern

We love eating at here. As always the food was delicious and we had excellent service. Always enjoy being able to dine out on the patio. We also ordered food to go. The bologna sandwich and pub chips are some of our favorites but we have ordered various menu items on other visits and have always enjoyed everything.

To be honest, Harmer, tavern is buy choice. The best place to chill to have a few beers and good food. Specially during the Spring summer and fall season. They have a outside patio with a very comfortable feeling lots of seating That is pretty lit and the type of people that go there. Are more about business then you're typical rowdy bunch. The best part is bartenders in Bakersfield. In the people that work there are very hospitable in pleasant. They don't ignore you like at dive bar. Honestly can't think of one thing I don't like about it.

Been there many times and my experience has always been wonderful. Everyone is always so friendly and attentive. Great food! I was once married there on the back patio by our Mayor and we ended up having more guests than expected but the service we received was remarkable thank you Harmar Tavern and Spagnas for so many years of awesome, friendly and kind service, and many thank to Kevin & Kathy.

The OG tavern serving the west side since 1900. The Fried Bologna Sandwich is a favorite. The onion rings are perfect. Great atmosphere and service. Closed Mondays.

One of Marietta’s best local spots! Food is always on point! I never ate hot dogs until I tried one from here and they are the BEST! Staff is fun & attentive and always make you feel welcome! Only one block from the river so you can dock up and walk over for food & drinks!

really great place to eat and hangout in, very chilled place. Food was great. It was a little slow but its ok were not angry or complaining. And great service bcus our server apologized and always checked in on us for anything and she was very polite so thank u for ur kindness and apology. A great restaurant with a great staff is wonderful to see. We will def be back. Thanks for satisfying us.

When I went to the Harmar on Saturday March 5 our waiter was named Sam, and I have to say he was the best. I even started teasing Sam Sam, I am do you like green eggs and ham? He played back which was great, the drink was perfect and the fries were delicious. This is always MY want to go to place when I'm in Marietta. When friends come in from out of town and want something good to eat this is where I take them, I haven't tried anything I didn't like yet. Thank you Sam I am I do so like green eggs and ham, I'll probably eat them in a van 🙃🤪

Relaxed atmosphere, always a good time. Menu is not huge, but whatever you get is always good.

I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally had the opportunity. It’s such a warm inviting place with great service and delicious food.

Great place for either casual eating or drinks

A surprising hidden gem nestled away in Marietta , an old school bar no muss no fuss. Food will appeal to your inner yearning for haute bar fare without being expensive. The Rodeo burger was sublime, my arteries screamed in a chorus of incredulity and disbelief at the level of life threatening levels of cholesterol. The onion rings are to die for, literally if you ate several helping but while savoring each crispy bite your are reminded of their awesomeness. I could ramble on like Robert Plant but trust me just eat here, you’ll leave happily full.

Having entered hospice care, I knew that a final visit to my favorite bar and pervayor of fried bologna sandwich, was in order. Yesterday, we made it there and true to form, the experience far surpassed my expectations. Thanks, Harmar, for a destination ride that I made one last time. Vaya con Dios.

This is a little tavern the at first glacé doesn’t look like much, don’t let that fool you. The food was fantastic and the servers were on top of things. Kitchen was fast with the order and the food was hot and cooked just right. Highly recommend. Just passing through town what a great find.

Just had a delicious brisket meal! It was so good, I decided to tip the cooks!

Great environment and staff. The food was good and so was the beer selection. I had a nice relaxing time after work out of town. Request the beer battered fries, they are the best.

Very chill spot for a great meal. Had breakfast on a Sunday and it was delicious. Got the breakfast quesadilla and potato casserole. Burgers are very good as well.

Best burgers around, hands down.
