The food was great . And you get a lot of food for the price. The service was grate as well
I will go back

Yum, yum, yum! The food is excellent, fresh, and hot! Service is fast, professional, and friendly! Portions are big enough to share! Dining room is very cute and clean! I highly recommend this delicious, authentic Indian cuisine!

Nice Indian restaurant in the heart of Marrietta. Good food and pleasant decor. I especially liked the vegetable thali...a combination plate of excellent vegetarian dishes with rice, samosa, naan, raita, and dessert included.

This is place is so so so good! My first time trying Indian and I love it! Wasn’t too busy for a Friday night and service was fast . I really recommend!

Years ago, I went w an Indian friend to his favorite place to eat in Chicago. It was the restaurant that catered his wedding. Wonderful experience. I have never had Indian food so good, until today. Star of India in Marietta Ohio should get a sixth star for their lamb curry. Amazing food.

Very nice place. We had our anniversary dinner here and the food was delicious. The naan was perfect, not burnt like some other places I've been to. The lamb masala and chicken masala was delicious. Mango lassi was also great! Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Perfect place for a romantic dinner. We were there at 5pm and it wasn't busy like I had expected.

The lamb curry is wonderful, just be careful not to order spicy if you don't like spicy. Because it is. Great if you like it hot

I go here ALL the time! I absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and the staff is super helpful! The owner even went above and beyond to accommodate me for my dietary restrictions! They are the ASOLUTE BEST!!! Order anything on the menu, it will not disappoint!

Great indian food, missing a touch of salt. The to go ice cream was in a small plastic sauce container, perhaps two tablespoons total. That was not a good value. Otherwise, the prices and serving sizes are fair.

Great service, great food. Not as spicy from what I was expect from an Indian restaurant. I have eaten here for dinner, as well as lunch. The lunch buffet is a bit spicy, but my nose did not run from how low the spice was. My only criticism is how bright it is in there. Not very romantic. They also have the TV as background noise rather than music. Over all, would recommend, even to someone who is sensitive to spicy food. The portions are quite large as well.

This is my favorite restaurant in the MOV. I keep their number on speed dial for those nights when I order takeout.
Their food is always HOT, FRESH, and DEEELICIOUS! The staff is sweet and friendly. The portions are more than generous. Everything is seasoned to perfection. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including vegetarian dishes. I can’t recommend them enough!!!!

Some go-to’s of mine are the Shrimp Kashmiri, Vegetable Samosas, Paneer Palak… I could go on. Also, they have the best naan I have ever had in my life.

Food was good. Place was clean and nice. They were very polite. We ordered a good bit of food and it was prepared in a timely manner. Would recommend to anyone who likes India food, or who is just wanting to try it for the first time. The Chicken Curry was a favorite menu item for everyone in my family.

Very good staff and even better food

This restaurant was very good. The food was excellent. The waitress was great. The place was empty which I was unsure of....but several came for pick up orders as we waited and ate. It was very clean and well kept. The kids enjoyed the Balliwood music and television show as we waited and ate. We all ordered different dishes and all were served perfectly. The great flavors and smells were amazing and we all very much enjoyed stopping here to eat. We were on a geocaching trip to get the caches along the river walk after dark. it was the perfect location to start our walk from. I suggest you stop here if you get a chance. I was there 1-5-19 Saturday about dark.

First time there ,we ordered from the menu I have ate a lot of places in Pittsburgh and else where over the years and there food was the best we ever have had.
The restaurant was clean and comfortable , when looking them up on line there are some interior pictures that maybe was from another place that was in Parkersburg that they ran at one time not sure. But it really was the bested vegetarian food we ever have had , they also have meat dishes

Absolutely so happy to have this restaurant in Marietta. Love the food!! The whole family loves this place. My picky eater loves the Naan, I love almost everything on the menu, my husband asks for super spicy and they don’t disappoint! Have a mango lassi to cool down and it makes for a delicious meal.

I love the Star of India restaurant. We've been coming here since they opened in front of Grand Central Mall over 10 years ago. They are always so considerate and accommodating to our tastes. If you're unsure as to what heat you would like or what main dish to try, come in during the week for their lunch buffet. They have a variety of choices with a fairly mild heat. If you can't make out for the buffet, just order it mild for the first time. Then you can increase the spice your next time!

Love this place! Dining area is very clean and spacious. Buffet is awesome at lunch time very good quality food and super friendly service. Open on weekends too, love it! I'm going to have to start ordering more takeout.
