Greensport RV Park & Campground

What a cool campground. From our site we could look out over the lake. The sites were decent size with full hookups, a picnic table and fire grate. The office staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us a treat at check-in and a treat for our cat as well. They have a laundry room, showers, a big dog park, a small petting zoo and a general store. They also had canoe and kayak to rent and in season a local place to rent boats. We would definitely go back to this RV Park.

Fantastic campground off the beaten path in Ashville, Alabama, Owners and staff were great to work with. If you're RVing, DO NOT USE google maps to get here, it will take you on a road where you have to make a 135 Degree turn, use an RV GPS or call them to get better instructions. They have a great country store stocked with all kinds of goodies. A dog park, pool and great water front docks, and places to hang out.

I love the water, I love the land, I love the ambiance! I love the railroad cars , I love the general store! I absolutely love the staff at this place! I’ve been to 47 states and Greensport is hands down my favorite place in the United States! Chocked full of nature, peace, love and compassion! Iam an artist and this place peaks my creativity!

We stayed two nights here in our camper and omg this place is so nice. It’s clean, everyone is so respectful/kind, there’s lots of fun things to do (pool, beach, petting zoo, jumping pillow, fun activities they organize). We had such a good time and already plan to come back next summer. Plus they give you fresh baked cookies when you arrive!!

My wife Renae and I just stopped by to visit this place, we love it!! We met Stephanie and Kathy and Jennifer, and gave them a deposit so we can stay here February and March. We so excited to know we will be living here for 2 months this winter. This RV park is very beautiful and VERY peaceful. They have a nice General Store, that is literally that, they have a little bit of everything.

Everyone we met, staff and guests are really pleasant and courteous. If you are looking for short or long term stay, stop by for a visit, someone from the friendly staff will gladly show you around.

First of all WOW!! The staff is amazing and the communication is outstanding! Stephanie and staff work very hard and it sure does show. I personally have been here at Greensport for almost 2 months. I think by day 2 I was sitting under the tree on “The Island” drinking coffee and was just thinking, “I don’t want to leave here”. So we haven’t lol! I had some truck issues when we arrived and Stephanie told me “don’t worry we can move you wherever and whenever at no charge”.
If you have an opportunity to come and stay here at Greensport RV Park and Marine you will absolutely love it. If you have kids they have multiple events and facilities to entertain them. I could keep going about all the amenities and staff. Do yourself and family a favor and check it out.

This is a great campground to put on your list. Great for kids with several activities.

We love all the improvements they'd implemented in the last few years. It's beautiful clean and very friendly with a lot of children running around playing in various areas design for children. They have a giant inflated jumping pillow that my kids loved as well as a pool. They have a store that has everything tobacco, snacks pizzas they cook on site. Even alcohol so you don't have to drive somewhere and then drive back. Very nice RV park and wonderful place to bring the family to camp or to swim in the summer time.

This is our first time staying here and they have to be some of the nicest people we’ve ever stayed with. Campground feels safe and is clean and well equipped with everything you need. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back!

The staff, who are great, suggested checking out the whole park. We stayed here for two nights, wasn't enough. There's a swimming pool, and a lake. There are plenty of places to walk your dog, along with bag stations throughout.
The sites were decent, we had a bit of an incline but not enough to cause an issue. The hookups were set where they should be and without any issues. Definitely plan to stay again.

Awesome RV park!! The older side could use more shade trees, but the lots in the 200's section were very spacious. We stayed at 215. The walk to the pool was a bit treacherous, I wish there was a sidewalk, or a bridge over the creek to keep the littles off the roadway.

The country store was fabulous!! Very necessary when we discovered we had forgotten something, and yes they had it!! The personnel who worked the office and the store were so nice!! I was quite pleased to see the county Sheriff's department patrolling often during the weekend, and occasionally during the week. The patrols gave me much peace of mind.

The pool was my 7 year old grandson's favorite part!! It was very clean and offered some shade for the adults to supervise and not get burned.

The bathhouse was very nice and clean. I didn't have to use the laundry, but it looked top of the line.

We went for the first time in July 2021. We just booked our next visit the first week of August 2021, and believe this will be one that we will go back to over and over!!

The only bad thing, was the amount of traffic going in and out, I believe these were more permanent residents, because the work trucks were very loud and went in late evening, and out very early in the mornings. The fact that we were directly by the gate, may have had something to do with why we heard the traffic. Our next site will be across in the trees, so I expect more quiet.

Greensport RV Park is a very nice campground with an amazing view on the lake.

They have a marina and boat launch to go out fishing or just enjoy the day on the water.

Very quiet campground to relax and recharge. The kids will love the jump pad, sand, skipping rocks along the shore, and seeing all the wildlife and scenery there. In nearby Gadsden there is also annice Children's Museum and parks with waterfalls.

Our only "problem" was our travel destination is time sensitive so we couldn't stay even longer. We will definitely be back for sure though!

This place is awesome and affordable for the family. Anyone over 16 years of age it is $7 for the entrance fee but only $2 for a year each time you come after that. If you are under 16 years old it is $2 a piece each time you come. It is worth it! It is a very clean well kept fun place for families. They have picnic tables that are covered that you can rent for the day. I believe it's $20 or $15 for the day depending on where it's located. I believe they have rentals for jet skis. This is an awesome place that we definitely will be back to.

Just a two night stay this time, but we certainly hope to be back soon.

Dave and Stephanie are great hosts and very helpful. Kudos for their vision and desire to continually improve their beautiful property. It's always nice to see owners who have an interest in continually improving their guest experience.

Sites vary from standard RV park layout with pull-thru and back-in sites to wooded back-in sites that offer shade and plenty of room between sites.

Having a Sunday sunrise church service on the property was a treat and added bonus.

Stayed 2 nights. Beautiful park. Usually we find a local restaurant, not really any around. Didn't even want to leave the park. Beautiful stay!!

Fantastic stay! Country setting. The staff responded promptly to a power outage at our site. Great stay, will be back.

Smart planning and hard work are making this park grow. The first section is on the lake and the second section is in the nearby woods. Sites are large with gravel pads and full hook ups. Excellent Wifi. The bathhouse toilet/shower suites are constructed with cinder block walls, concrete floor, and a metal roof. A bit cool during our March visit but I’m sure fine in the summer. The pool looked nice but was not yet open.

Just completed a 5 day 4 night stay. Loved this campground! The staff is so friendly, amenities for everyone and well priced! Clean and picturesque. I’ll be back!

Beautiful place with very friendly people. This campground is situated on an amazingly beautiful piece of property surrounded by a large lake and river. The sunset over the lake was incredible! The campsites are spacious. There are lots of amenities. We hiked and kayaked. It is hard to believe that the owners, Stephanie and David, did all of this in three years. We really enjoyed our time there. If you are in northern Alabama check out this great campground.
