Saw the sign for Jerry Brown Pottery off the highway. Decided to stop we were greeted by a cute mule and horse. The building was locked, but a woman yelled from across the street that she would come over. Some of the most unique pieces of pottery and appreciate the traditional methods used to make it. Everything was half off we walked out with a face jug and a mug. What a wonderful experience we will always get a good laugh whenever we look at our face jug.

My husband and I were headed home to Florida and saw the Brown Pottery sign on the highway. I’m so glad we took the time to visit. The family were so nice and showed us around the Gallery telling us the history. We were also able to watch Jeff make a birdhouse, which was fascinating to see. Thank you for making our visit so fun. I purchased 4 pieces and love the uniqueness of each piece. My husband is especially excited to cook on the chicken cooker.

My son and I found this pottery shop by accident! We were looking for a coffee shop. We were about to turn around and leave...when the owner appeared from behind the building and invited us in. They have some very unique and interesting items in the shop! He showed us around and explained what some of the more unique pottery were. He explained how is family had been making and selling pottery for over nine generations. His father Jerry was famous and his work is in the White House and Smithsonian Museum. I bought a beautiful moss green microwave bacon cooker for myself, and an Alabama mug for my Pastor...he is a huge Alabama fan. ROLL TIDE!!! I definitely suggest that you seek out this hidden gem and take home some amazing pottery and a few stories!

Enjoyed listening to Jeff Brown tell stories about his dead who unfortunately passed this year. Nice works of art and definitely walked out with a purchase. May this business live for many more generations

Jeffrey, the son to Jerry, was very friendly. He showed me all around the show room, explaining about different pieces. He took me to the firing room and told me how the kiln works, lastly he took me out back and explained how and where he gets the clay to make his pottery.
