My second time here! Just as delicious as the first. I highly recommend the fried potatoes and spinach artichoke dip. Talk about yummy! Nice and clean. LOVED THE MUSIC! Waitress greeted us with a smile. Go enjoy something from this hidden gem!

This place is AWESOME! I have not been disappointed any time I have eaten here. Excellent choices, always delicious. Service is awesome, very friendly, easy going staff. Great atmosphere. Does private parties, has a mini coffee bar, homemade desserts, alcohol and an alleyway to chillax! Go here next time or every time you want to grab a bite to eat!!

What a gem. Waitress sold me on the burger of the month. Holy smokes. Best thing I’ve had since 1998. Craft brew hit the spot too.

Didn’t take many pics but ordered a lot on the menu. They have great drinks! We got half of the appetizers and I don’t have anything bad to say about any of them! Will come back and post more pics 💕

Jovalou is a a culinary delight! The menu is filled with amazing dining choices.
The burgers are absolutely fantastic!! I think my burger was the best I have ever eaten.
The decor is urban, which is hip and elegant.
The staff is courteous and willing to make your dining experience the best possible.

Food was delicious and service was fantastic!!! Had fried cabbage, hadn't had that in a long time and it was great! Also had boudin wontons, what a crazy treat! Fantastic!

My husband an I live in Los Angeles and we were excited and surprised to find Jovalou in Fairfield, Il. The food is delicious and on par with the bistros we frequent in LA and the atmosphere is unique and welcoming. I eat a mostly vegan diet and Javalou has always had multiple menu options for me - tofu burgers, hand crafted veggie burgers, grilled portobellos, salads, sides and more - while my husband indulges in the well cooked steaks. We have been several times and the menu evolves seasonally. We will be back!

A great atmosphere unlike any other in the area. They have a great craft beer selection, and great cocktails. They always have a burger of the month that is next level. The wait staff is always polite, professional, and hard working. They have some of the best wings around, and anything that comes out of the kitchen is made with love. This place is worth the stop if you find yourself cruising through Fairfield, IL.

Great place!! Had Bontin Wontons and Sweet Potato Steak soup. Delicious. Also got to get dog treats for our dog!! Definitely must try. I'll be back. Thank you for the great service.

Best margarita I've ever had; unbelievable strawberry butter; and a portabello mushroom steak that is my favorite steak....

I'm not sure how they did it but my chicken was the juiciest I've ever had in my life abs the wonton are to die for. I love this place its so romantic quiet abs cute! Great for girls night out or small family celebrations. Definitely a must try restaurant.

I was a visiting official court reporter at Wayne County Courthouse, and Judge Harrell wanted to take me to lunch. I'm so glad she introduced me to this place. I had the most-delicious half Turkey Melt & side salad! I will be back the next time I'm in town for court. The atmosphere was wonderful. Our waitress was so accommodating and sweet also.

Nikki is an amazing chef. I eat there every Thursday. Her staff shines. Fairfield isn't big but, let's get behind local sports. This restaurant is truly the best ran, best food. In a town of 5,000. You are blessed to have such a restaurant

I ordered the burger of the month and it did not disappoint! The sweet tea is divine! The sweet potatoes fries are incredible!

Last night we had the 5 course dinner, it was unbelievable. It was our Valentines Day dinner, romantic, food and drink was incredible. The food was all home made. Service top notch.

The food was absolutely amazing! It’s reasonably priced for such high quality! We’ve eaten both in the dining room and in the alley for Jovalou After Dark, which was absolutely stunning! My husband and I have decided this will be our new date night destination. Love it and highly recommend!
