Municipal Beach

It's tiny! However I visited in the fall during lunch and no one was there. It was clean and well kept. The view is great. There is a small playground and a couple benches and trash cans. There were no tables or restrooms. I am curious how busy a summer weekend would be.
It's a lovely but very small. More than a couple people would make it feel busy.

Sweet spot for kayaking and swimming. Usually not to busy even on the weekend. Has a small beach, couple of picnic tables, swing set, slides, and a small restroom.

Quite on Christmas Day. Beautiful beach front on the lake. Serenity was found.

Well maintained. Lots of grassy areas. Boardwalk. Broken tiny shells are mixed in with the sand on the beach so wear water shoes. It is not a beach to build sand castles. I would not swim at the beach but I am very picky. This beach is free and very few people are ever there. I love relaxing here. I love the sound of the waves. I have always felt safe there. It is not dirty and there never seems to be litter. There is a simple playground too. It is a quaint place, great for a quiet picnic or a place for kids to run around while you relax by the lake.

Every community needs one of these - a place where anyone can enjoy the lake for free. There are few amenities, but that's okay when you have easy access to free swimming.

It's a nice little park and beach though the biting flies were brutal in mid-August.

This beach is smaller, but a nice "hole in the wall" spot for families. There is plenty of room to stretch out for a picnic, a playground and small beach area. Parking can be difficult, though. If it's full by the fence you have to park at Waverly.
