The timing was perfect. the waitress Kayla was so polite and did not shy away from the thank you's. The cheese sticks even came with fresh Parmesan on them. I ordered "The Burnt Out Burger" and fries. It came on a pretzel bun, a fried egg on top (salted and peppered with a little runny yolk inside. Under the egg was chopped red onion, pico de gallo, and tomato. American cheese. The burger patty had a right off the grill flavor to it and it all layed neatly on a bed of lettuce. Such a cool place in walking distance from my house. Can't wait to try other menu items.

First time guest. Food was amazing especially the sweet potato fries and sauce that came along with them, well worth the extra charge. Also had a fall drink special Carmel Apple Mule - delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The prices were very reasonable also.

This is a must visit!!! The food was AMAZING and the owner is so sweet and patient. They raise all of their own meat, which is fantastic mind you! It's hard to find a home away from home cooking like this but they knocked it out of the park! If I didn't live a suburb of Dallas, I'd be here every weekend! The fried oreo cooked up is SOO freaking good, I had to stop in before I left. Highly recommend this place!

The food was delicious. They also have a dessert for 75 cents which is a deep fried oreo in chocolate sauce. Our waitress was young, enthusiastic and so cute.....she checked on us frequently. She really wanted usvto like the food. She was a joy. The vintage building has been restored and the ambience was amazing.

Great atmosphere, owner and workers where so friendly and so kind. Very attentive to there customers. Food was very pleasing to the eye and my stomach agrees. Food was 5 star delicious

My husband and I were in Freeport for a weekend and were not sure where we wanted to eat. We took a chance and wandered into "This Is It Eatery." We are so glad we did. We each ordered steaks and they were fresh, seasoned well, and cooked to the desired temperature. The brown gravy on the mashed potatoes was fabulous and we wish we could have tried more menu items but we were too full. The staff was professional, kind, and attentive.

The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. I had the best blueberry pie I've ever had for dessert. We will be eating at This Is It much more often.

This is It Eatery was delicious tonight. They raise their own beef and the ribs were pull off the bone tender and cooked to perfection. Coleslaw was good as well. Hubby had a burger and he said it was just as good. Highly recommend this place. Staff is friendly too. 😉👍🏻

Stopped in for lunch. The waitress was very friendly, and my lunch was delicious. I only wish there were more restaurants like this instead of all those chain restaurants. It's nice to have lunch at a place where the owner checks on you to make sure everything is good.

In one word, phenomenal. Great mixed drinks, relaxed friendly and inviting atmosphere, and wonderful service from one of the friendliest bartenders I've ever encountered. My wife and I are in town on vacation and this has been our best meal decision of the trip. We will absolutely be returning!

Eaten here twice, each time with a small group each ordering something different. Everything on the menu we’ve had has been excellent. Highly recommend if you’re in Freeport

The food was wonderful. Definitely get the quesadilla, and whatever beautiful magic is put into the dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries is like getting a hug from my grandma. We will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere and meatloaf and mashed potatoes tastes like it was made at home. Service was extremely friendly and the restaurant was unique and clean.

Not only was the food excellent, what you felt like you walked into someone's home and they wanted you there. The food was great, affordable, casual atmosphere, a great gathering place. It's quaint from the outside. You'll want to go back. And feels like an Old Time Cafe, nostalgic, a place where you want to go when you feel at home, could be your home, could be someone else's home, but you're home.

Eight of us for lunch with little notice…they seated us right away. The owner/staff were accommodating and very friendly. The food was great..from the cod sandwich to the chicken salad with fruit and sweet potato fries. My first timE there..will be back!

The waitstaff was excellent, as was the pulled pork on a pretzel bun!! Great fries and coleslaw, too! You get a lot of yummy food at a good price!

Food was excellent! Double smoked brisket on pretzel bun. Cole slaw very good; even tastier on the sandwich. Ordered a second identical sandwich to go for the husband. Highly, highly recommend!

Great food and great people serving. The owners take great care to make sure you leave satisfied. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Where do I start? This place is phenomenal! We had a 1/2 order of loaded nachos for an appetizer. Huge and delish! My husband ordered Pulled Pork Loaded Tator Tots. HUGE and delish! I ordered Beef and Noodles. HUGE and delish. I ate part and took home the rest. There was plenty for the two of us for the next days lunch. Staff were so nice. I’m currently in a wheelchair. They were so accommodating. She made sure I was in a spot where my leg was safe. Our food came in a timely manner. Def a must try! My bet is that you’ll love it as much as we do!
