Rustic Retreat Lodge

My father and I experienced the lodge during a bull moose hunt. The owners, Jason and Terri, made us feel right at home. Our rooms and lodging were far above our expectations for a hunting trip. They and their guide staff are extremely knowledgeable of both the wildlife and area being hunted. They had planned long before our arrival for main and backup plans. They had scouted and done their homework which resulted in us seeing a legal bull only hours into the first day. By the second day we had a 820lb bull on the ground by 1:00. The food was great, but the people were amazing. 5 stars isn’t enough for the experience we had. Hunt of a lifetime.

Our group of 6 stayed at the Rustic Retreat Lodge for a snowmobile trip in March of ‘22. We decided the first day of our stay that we would return in 2024 with a larger group!
The lodge and hosts are awesome. Great location. Couldn’t have had a better experience.

We've stayed here several times over the past few years for snowmobiling and this is the best place to stay in the county for it. Jason and Terri are awesome hosts and the lodge is amazing, comfortable and well appointed...2 mile groomed access trail to ITS90, huge yard for parking, love this place!

We stayed there. Owners wonderful. Place has everything you need and then some very accommodating. You only have to pack clothes n load up 4, wheeler or snowmobile. Do all grocery shopping before u arrive. The lodge is very comfortable.

We are so appreciative of the owners and the beautiful lodge! Amazing hospitality and they have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. So welcoming and accommodating. Even made sure to tell our group of 8 if we need help on trail just to give them a call. Our second time here and already booked for 2024!

I really enjoyed my first stay at the Lodge! I am heading back up today from southern Maine to escape the hustle and bustle and reach out to the peaceful surroundings and views offered by the property. The owners of Rustic Retreat Lodge do everything they can to ensure your stay is fantastic. Life long friends in the making and to be honest I consider them family already!! See you in about 5 Hours.

Awesomely Awesome and what a gorgeous view. We seen a Deer coming into the lodge and a Moose Bull leaving. Great hospitality.
