Forage Market

Such wonderful space! It was our first time visiting, and we were not disappointed. We met for coffee -- my mug came to a total of $3.24. Even better, I parked on the nearby parking garage on Pine Street, we were together at Forage Market for just an hour, enough to catch up. So to my delight, I did not have to pay for any parking.

this place it’s so popular that I was meeting with two different people in Lewiston auburn area in the morning and both of them wanted to meet at forage. A very hearty and good forage breakfast sandwich and quality coffee. To note that you do need to give them a phone number and then they text you when your order is ready. If you’re meeting somebody for a conversation, I do find this a little bit annoying to need to look at your phone. My first companion also didn’t get a text and had a very delayed breakfast pick up. Otherwise, ample space and a great spot for breakfast. I was able to get street parking both times, which also made me pretty happy.

I was here 5 years ago and loved it so much I felt the need to review it. I was in town for work and went to Forage Market the first morning to get coffee and breakfast. It was so good we went back every day the whole week. The food, coffee, people, atmosphere, everything was amazing and far exceeded my expectations. I would certainly stop back if I’m ever in the area. Great place!

Absolute gem of a cafe. Beautiful inside, great layout, good selection of beverages and bagels and bagel sandwiches. Very delicious food, the bagels are extremely soft inside with a great fired char on the outside. The BLT sandwich was spectacular and the Smilng Hill Farm chocolate or strawberry milks were amazingly fresh and tasty.

I cannot understate how incredible this little location is. The greatest aspect is the inclusive pride flag, proudly on display. We must protect our LGBtQ+ friends and family.

Really good location and the bagel tastes awesome. Don’t forget to order a maple latte.

I swung in here briefly because the reviews were so good. I found the staff to be very friendly, and my everything bagel with butter was delicious. I would love to return if/when I am in the area again to try the jalapeño cream cheese. Overall, Fabulous :-)

The Forage w/meat (Squealer) breakfast sandwich is soooo good!!!! However, after ordering I was told that I'd get a text when my food was ready, so I sat at a table and waited a solid 10-15 min and no text. Curiosity (not impatience) got the best of me so I walked over to the pick-up area and there was my food and coffee, just sitting there, not sure for how long. But I had witnessed other people get called to the counter, so I was very confused - though I am not going to let this stop me from coming here to get a sandwich and coffee. Highly recommend

I like the character of the space and the food/drink offerings are good. I'm happy to support them, but wish we had something similar in Auburn!

So cute! Lovely staff, delicious foods, excellent coffee, and the art is top tier! I ended up buying a painting off the wall. Very queer friendly, too! I had the gluten free bread and it was tasty!

The coffee was good and the bagel sandwich was delicious. The bagel was crisp and toasted, perfectly making the whole sandwich. Loved the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. It was great to have breakfast after working out. The staff was friendly and our food was prepared quickly.

I placed a bread order from Forage Market. I was looking for really good locally baked bread and I found it! The owner Allen Smith called me back to discuss the order, and it was just what I imagined. I used it for a bread board for a wedding buffet. Thank you!!! Keep on baking.....

1st time at Forage Market & it didn’t disappoint. The blueberry muffin is full of blueberries & the cherry turnover is so fruity & delicious. Yum.

Wonderful little cafe! It was my first time visiting Lewiston, and I found this gem of a shop. Wood fired, homemade bagels, great coffee, great atmosphere, and the art on display was fantastic. Thanks for the great service!

So good. Everything from the staff to art work is appealing. Today we had fresh Bagels, they were out of this world but sold out pretty quickly. They kept on making them though, the person asking about when the next batch would be ready was told 10 minutes. They seem to be on it and well aware of their popularity; ) getting day old breads and bagels are just as good and cheaper, don't pass by that option, for sure.

Great food amazing atmosphere wonderful staff make this place a must visit if you are in the area. Navig great location set up however parking is only one hour outside on the street but they are very forgiving. Everything about the inside is clean and very well thought out. Food service was very prompt and delicious. They had a single stall bathroom so all genders are able to use. The food is your basic breakfast assortment such as pastries, breakfast sandwiches and some fruit options. Yes they have a veagan/vegetarian option

The staff was very friendly... and more importantly, the food was DELICIOUS!! I had the chocolate croissant, and it was excellent! The space is well decorated and quite cozy! 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat in the Lewiston area!

They have freshly baked wood-fired bagels that are delicious and several types of cream cheese ive never tried before. Absolutely fantastic. Never been disapointed with food quality.

Glad we made time while driving through to the norther Maine region. It was well worth the stop and if I lived local I’d be there often. Had the lox bagel!

How I'm going to miss this place as a Bates students. Despite the store closing indoor seating during half my time at Bates due to COVID, this place holds a cherished spot in my heart. The food is top tier and has always reached perfection, the service is also amazing. The vibrant atmosphere and inviting vibes also make it a go-to spot for studying for Batesies (Bates students), including myself!
