Edgewater Inn

My best friend stayed here this past weekend with her boyfriend. I knew her boyfriend was planning to propose and wanted to surprise them with flowers and champagne. I called the Inn and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing service I received from the manager. She communicated with me throughout the week and was able to deliver exactly what I wanted while they were out of their room.

We stayed one night in off-season. The view was fantastic, the accomodations clean and homey. Perfect for a quick getaway, with downtown Charlevoix a very short and easy stroll away.

Great place close to downtown Charlevoix! All 60 units face Round Lake to varying degrees. 1&2 bedrooms on three floors. We've stayed on all three floors, and the appointments vary with the individual owners. These are pricey but not out-of-line with other places in Charlevoix. If you want the view, the proximity, and the convienience, these units deliver. Pictured is the 3rd floor unit we stayed in.

Celebrated our 30th anniversary. This was a great place to stay, the staff very personable and friendly, the condo we stayed in were clean and well kept, just enough essentials for your stay, balcony has a great view of round lake next to the draw bridge see the boats in and out, maid service available. Pool and work out room. Close to lake Mi just a short walk away, shopping and restaurants all in walking distance. Would highly recommend and look forward to another get away there!

Literally one of the nicest places I've stayed. There are some amazing restaurants within walking distance. The room was perfect and the whole place was super clean...the only thing was I couldn't get the hot tub to turn on but that was probably just me lol. Overall a wonderful place for a vacation.

Such a great location and close to everything! Amazing views and welcoming to all. With 1-3 bedroom options, this place is sure to fit your groups needs. I will definitely be back and have already booked my next trip.

We foolishly went up for the Charlevoix marathon without making a reservation, and, amazingly, Edgewater Inn had an open, and affordable two bedroom room open. After checking in and seeing our room, I could not believe our luck. The room was beautiful, clean, with skylights, very nice showers, and had a wonderful view of the boats coming in and the bridge folding up. It was close to everything downtown, and, more importantly, very close to the race festivities.

Anything we needed and any questions we're taken care of, and we really enjoyed the pool that had both indoor and outdoor sections, as well as a hot tub.

This was definitely one of my top 5 hotel visits of all time, and I was sad it was only for one night. I feel like I could live in that room all summer. I definitely hope to come back in the future.

Stayed here for a quick night during a day/night trip doing a fall color tour. The room was very clean and cozy. Slightly dated but had a nice flow to the layout of the room/condo Would recommend to anyone!

Hidden gem, you get a lot for what you pay for! Wasn't expecting a living/dining/kitchen space. Amazing view! We’ve been coming up here for the last 3-4 years and we won’t stay anywhere else in the area.

All rooms face the water, and each room is privately owned/decorated. One time the TV stopped working, we asked for a different room and they gave us a discount.

Polite and friendly staff. You get a discount at the French Quarter restaurant too.

This hotel was beautiful. Our 1st floor unit overlooked the bay. It is a large condo! The bedroom is separate from the living space, small kitchenette w/ a small refrigerator, 2 burner stove, toaster oven, & some dishes. The living room was very lg w/ nice furnishings. There is an indoor /outdoor pool & hot tub. We will definitely stay here next time in Charlevoix.

Stayed in this hotel while vacationing in Charlevoix. Was a super nice hotel, with a friendly staff and super clean rooms! I loved that the suite had an awesome view of the lake. The location is perfect, all the shops were within walking distance! Overall a very nice place to stay.

I just wanted to say that my check in started bad, but it was through Homeaway online from someone else for a private condo. We got in late Saturday morning at 1 am and when we went into our room, it had never been cleaned. Dirty towels everywhere and bed unmade. I talked to Christina and she totally stepped up and was able to give us the best room they had. It was an amazing room!!!! Our trip then had a turn for the best! And the restaurant that is attached has the best breakfast ever and service was really good! I just wanted to say thank you to Christina for turning our trip around! We appreciate you! Thank you the town of Charlevoix! We will be back!

The rooms are very unique and comfortable and comes with a great view! I love how each room has a separate bedroom, a great kitchen space, living room and balcony. Can’t wait to go back!

The best location in town with fantastic views of Round Lake or the channel. We could sit by the sliding glass doors and watch boat traffic all day. The fact you get a great, clean, individually decorated room for a very reasonable price is just a bonus. Fine restaurant on premises, but within easy walking distance to several others.

I and my family have been staying at the edgewater for years. We lone the location and have never personally had any issue with cleanliness. Staff has been very helpful and accommodating. We never stay anywhere else

Been coming to the Edgewater Inn every year for just over 2 decades. Gorgeous view, clean rooms, good location. There's rarely ever a problem and if there is, the staff is always helpful and quick to solve the issue. The pool is always clean and has the perk of being half indoor and half outdoor, and there's an indoor hottub.

Great mid-winter stay, nice room, right on the water, great view! Geese and ducks playing in the water, I can def see the summer draw, having the ability to keep your boat right outside your room!

Rooms are condos with fridge, microwave, sink, and small stove. All rooms have a patio or balcony with fantastic east-facing views of Lake Charlevoix. Definitely worth the money for a few days
