Mounds State Park Family Campgrounds

Beautiful, well maintained (just look at those lines!) campground. The trails are well marked and went along the White River and the different mounds. Book early if you want to trailer camp there though, it's popular for good reason!

Beautiful park. Wonderful staff. The Campground does boarder the Anderson Municipal Airport. You will see and hear plane taking off and landing during the day. There is also a main railroad near by. Neither brother us.

Nice open campsites, bathrooms are nice with hot water, campsite 64-68 along a small airport fun to watch. Lots of walking trails. (Not bike), Active train track near by. (I ❤ trains). Bike trail around airport,along tracks to Chesterfield IN.

Always a great time, my dog Max and I have camped here many times, restrooms are kept clean and are cleaned several times a day, their is a playground for children very nice family campground

Absolutely loved it. They were friendly and the park is very welled kept..they come frequently to pickup your trash

Fun little campground wit a lot of wooded spots and super clean shower house/bathroom. Keep in mind it is smack in the middle of a good sized city between an airport and railroad. So, if you want a quiet and tranquil experience, this probably isnt it. But for a fun little camping weekend it was great.

Mounds has some of the nicest trails you'll find. If you enjoy hiking, walking or running, You'll love this place! They have very limited spots for camping, so if you want to camp reserve well in advance. There aren't any bike trails so don't expect to ride here. Walking though you will have a great visit. There are some very cool spots. The mounds were made by native Americans in time BC. It really helps uou connect in a new way. Definitely visit.

Here for an IMN Workshop. Plan to enjoy the weekend under a sycamore tree.

Nice Park . Very Friendly Camphost. We stayed a fence away from the airport and loved watching the planes take off Nice walking areas .

Great place to camp....4am train does go on forever tho... there's trains and planes but they are not that loud except for the 4am one....planes are small and quiet
