Ordered from here Tonight to try their pulled pork sandwiches for dinner and wow , our meals turned out Wonderful. We didn't get to experience the dining in part tonight unfortunately, would love to dine in for our next visit here. It was a shame not to dine in tonight for this restaurant is well kept inside and out. If you are in the area looking for some good BBQ definitely check this place out ☺

WOW! We had our company christmas party here and it was AWESOME!!! DELICIOUS!!! Prime Rib Au Jus, cooked perfectly, and SO flavorful. 10 STARS ALL DAY LONG!!!

We were blown away by the food from The Pitt. During the tasting, Mike treated us like royalty. The food was so delicious, we had trouble narrowing down our choices! At the wedding, we got numerous compliments about the food from our guests. The portion sizes were generous and everyone was well fed. The bar service was great too. It was a pleasure working with Mike.

We had The Pit cater our wedding in October and Mike was such a pleasure to work with. He always answered our questions and we had multiple phone calls with him. He answered no matter the time of day. The day of went so smoothly and the food was delicious. We received complements about the food for weeks after our wedding. I recommend to anyone if they love great service and great food!

Highly highly recommend The Pit for catering. We had them cater a 70th birthday in Naples and the food and service were both absolutely amazing! Mike was fantastic to work with, he was flexible to our menu requests, responded to emails quickly and the food was very reasonably priced for the quality. All of our guests raved about it, everything was delicious especially the teriyaki chicken and mac & cheese! We would certainly use them again in the future. If I could rate 10 stars I would!

Been wanting to go here for some time now and finally stopped in for dinner wife. Great attitide from our server on 6/2/22 which was working in the bar section. I had the brisket which was flavorful and tender broke apart with your fork and didn't even need the bbq sauce the had on the side which was also great flavor. The pulled pork was amazing especially when you mixed a bite of their mac n cheese with it which by itself was also an excellent side. Next time i go to The Pit i am definitely going after a full rack of ribs! Wish we tried this place sooner.

It was such an amazing first time for my husband and I. DC, our bartender was so informative to the history of the building. He also was very helpful in choosing our meal choice.

This Is a place you have to try if you never been. Beautiful ambiance!

I'm a southerner, so I know good barbecue. They also seem to know good barbecue. The ribs are are terrifically smoked, the chicken is moist, the steaks are cooked to perfection, and the sides are delicious. We've had several get togethers and ordered from them bunches of times at work. This restaurant always delivers on quality of food and service. I would recommend them to anyone asking for a great place for dinner.

Waiter was amusing and friendly ^-^ .The food was so great! I got the pulled chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese and a vegetable side and it came with corn bread so it all hit the spot! Have never heard of the place before today so stopped by and it was a quirky little place . Completely worth the visit and the pricing was very reasonable! Can't wait to bring more friends and have another visit! Oh and the wait for food was very very short. So overall seriously great

My husband and I stopped in the other day after an appointment in the area and I have to say that we were absolutely thrilled with everything! From the moment we walked in the doors to the moment we left we were treated like we were the only ones in the room! The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional at every level. The food was almost indescribable! We enjoyed the steak and ribs and they were the best ever! If I had anything at all to say that was remotely negative it would be that my steak was a tiny bit overcooked but that is probably because I like it still mooing rare and most places cook it a bit too long for me so I will be clearer in my communication next visit. Everything else was perfect. We loved it so much that we are making a special trip to Lewiston again today to get us some of their sensational ribs! We are planning our 25th anniversary and have decided that we will be hiring the Pit Bar & Grill to cater our event because of their exceptional service and their amazing menu!

Really good pulled pork and burgers. Actually the best I have had traveling around new England. The cornbread is also super fresh and moist and something to die for. Enjoy the two rounds of beers in the kitchen you earned it!

Great place to eat! Portions were large and the food was really good. The bourbon bbq sauce was amazing with the brisket. The ribs were good as well. Competition style so not fall off the bone but still tender with good flavor.

Mike and his wife Robin did a pig roast and mobile bar for us and I can't say enough about them. The venue was terrible and they rolled with it like champions. The smoker smelled amazing, and the food was awesome! If you are looking for someone to cater your event definitely give them a call! Next party I have they will be my first call. ( and I'll make sure I find a better place Mike and Robin sorry for that!!)

Fantastic place to eat. Drove to Maine from Hanson mass on a business trip. Was driven here by a customer after dropping off a car. I needed to kill some time waiting for my ride back and needed something to eat. Waitress was very kind and didn’t give me a hard time about being there for over an hour and a half with only ordering an appetizer. Had French onion soup and that was one of the best I’ve had. Finally my ride came, had dinner with me and the main courses were fantastic. Had a burger with pulled pork and my ride had ribs, chicken and potato skins. I little a little if each and nothing disappointed and I’m pretty critical about my food.

Love this place! My husband and I go with our 7 years old every week to enjoy the Ribs. We tried the steak this week and is one of our new favorites. Also loved the Bama Burger....home made potato salad and mac and cheese and my favorite side dishes. My only suggestion for customers is to make reservations for larger parties as every time we go it fills up quickly due to everyone loving the place and i am always shocked when 8 plus groups of people show up without reservations and that is not fair to the restaurant. Robin, Logan and CT give great service and are always attentive.

Though I thought it was a little pricey it was SO WORTH IT! We had pulled pork sandwich and a full rack of ribs. Their cornbread is delicious! Onion rings were amazing! My husband loved the baked beans! Overall AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!

What a great experience!!! We had a celebration of life for my brother with 80-100 guests and the Pit Crew handled everything perfectly. Great food!!! Whole pig, brisket, chicken and all the sides were perfect. Great personal service. Would highly recommend for any event

Great food and big portions. Great beer selection, they aren't always consistent enough with the mixed drinks being listed, that's really important when you have customers that don't know the names of drinks. A mixed drinks menu like they have with beer would be great! That's literally my only complaint about the pit, I can't think of any reason to rate less than 5 stars, if you haven't been there yet, you're missing out!

We had their mobile catering service for our company party (Ramsay Welding) and the food was delicious! Chicken was fantastic and my husband had prime rib and fish he said both were excellent. The service was terrific. If I am in the area will certainly stop by the restaurant!
