Wild Fox Cabins

What a wonderful place to get off the grid and experience a delightful rest. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly! A beautiful lake with lots of equipment to enjoy your every desire. The cabin was roomy and comfortable. Sitting on the cabin porch looking at the lake was beautiful. Look forward to returning! A must visit!

We've stayed in a number of cabins in Maine and the Tackle Box at Wild Fox is now our favorite. It was spacious, very clean, and well appointed. Super cool layout too. Fishing was really good and we loved the beach. Great hosts all around. We will definitely be returning.

BEAUTIFUL log cabins with all the comforts of home except microwave & internet. Fishing from shore kept everyone happy for hours. The heat pumps were a blessing with AC during hot days and warmth during a cold snap. The ample first aid kit helped with headaches, scratches and a minor burn. The mosquitoes are plentiful so remember the bug spray. I would definitely recommend Wild Fox Cabins if you want to comfortably get away from it all!

Our first stay here and absolutely 10 stars. The owners were so accommodating and the cabins were gorgeous. They had full amenities, clean and comfy. It was a 5 mile drive on a dirt road from the main road to the cabins. It was definitely in the middle of nowhere but so beautiful and peaceful. We brought our dog and she had a blast every day swimming in the lake and out on the boats we rented for the week. The boats are equipped with fish finder, trolling motor and large net so just bring your dry bag & fishing poles. The cabins have pots & pans, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, sheets & blankets. Just bring food & clothes. If you enjoy ATV or dirt biking bring those too. There are tons of trails. You can get your groceries at Walmart or Hannafords in Lincoln before your 45 min ride into camp. We loved this place so much we booked again for next year. We will miss the loons, eagles and hanging out on the private beaches. This is the place to vacation if you want a Maine experience.

We just got back from our camping trip at Wild Fox! What a breathtaking area. As a born and raised Mainer, I love visiting areas that continue to awe. We decided to go with a tent site, because we love that deep woods feel, and we were not disappointed. The owners are very considerate and super friendly. We had the chance to meet one of their registered guides, Joe. He was so generous and helpful, not to mention a great guy to just hang out with! I can't wait to go back. We've been to many campgrounds all over the state, and Wild Fox stands out among the rest. We definitely recommend this hidden gem!

I just got back from my first trip to Wildfox, and it was INCREDIBLE. The cabin was gorgeous, spacious, and clean. I could tell that the owners truly care about their customers and their business; everything was sanitized and clearly labeled as such to reassure guests that it’s safe to stay during covid. The kitchen was spotless and had all of the cookware and everything to cook our own meals all week. We stopped at the grocery on the way in, so once we got there, we could just stay in place and limit interactions with others. It was perfect. Our lakeside cabin had gorgeous views of Junior Lake. We had a lovely tour of the lake on John’s pontoon boat, which was a highlight of the trip! There’s so much to do at Wildfox, if you want to, but it’s also isolated, peaceful, and serene. I spent most mornings on the front porch reading a book to the sounds of nature, or on a paddleboat on the calm lake. Boat rentals were very reasonably priced! Bevin and Ken were happy to help if we needed anything, gave excellent recommendations for activities and sight seeing, and their little store had all the incidentals I forgot to pack. Absolutely relaxing vacation. We had a great time, and I can’t wait to go back next year!

Spent a week at a cabin and had a fantastic time. Beautiful scenery and great ATV trails. The kids went fishing and caught fish every time, right from the dock. Being such a remote setting we greatly appreciated the amenities at the cabin (air conditioning, TV, full kitchen and bathroom with shower). The staff were very friendly and helpful explaining the area, fishing and places to boat to on the lake. Will go back.

Me and my so and a few friends stayed here this past weekend on one of the tent sites. The sites were clean. Had an awesome firepit\grill setup. Picnic table. They let us store our canoe so we didn't have to drag it to the site and back to the lake. Very reasonably priced kayak rentals. Clean bathroom. I booked my next visit before we left this morning. Bev and Joe were helpful and very kind. Defiantly recommend this campground. Next year we are bringing the dog and our son. I can't wait!

This is our second winter here and we LOVE it. The cabins are super cozy and well stocked. VERY clean. Mike is so helpful and accommodating. The ice fishing was fantastic! We are going up for a second stay this March!

Had the privilege of staying here this past weekend, and what an awesome place! Under new ownership, and they are giving guests top notch service. I found this gem of a campground by searching google for cabins in Maine. Bevin was very responsive to my emails asking about the accommodations and we booked a family vacation in cabin 3. It was Me, my husband, my mom and my 14 year old daughter . We all had a fabulous time and with no WIFI that could have been a challenge with a teen... but noooo... she loved it... from the adorable and very well appointed cabin, to the fishing, boating, and unspoiled beauty of the grounds... holy moly We didn’t want to leave. Everyone was very welcoming and a shout out to Bevin , Joe and Simone for really making us feel welcome! We cannot wait for the opportunity to visit again! Oh and our large breed, well behaved dog was welcome which can be a challenge to find, so I appreciate that. Definitely recommend!!!

Had a great trip. My 9 year old son caught his 1st of 3 fish on our 1st outing out. Amazing spot and nice cabins

I just needed a spot to park and put my boat in for the holiday weekend. They treated me real well and I wasn't even camping there. Even helped me back the trailer in.
