Spruce Lodge

We have been here twice in the fall and would love to visit in the summer months. It's quiet, plenty of wildlife, and more stars than almost anywhere in New England. It's so dark here you can see the Orion Nebula with a pair of binoculars; I've never been able to do that anywhere else in New England.

Aside from the amazing surroundings, Andy is a great host. Always accommodating and kind. Beds are comfortable, showers are hot, gas stove, plenty of space. Feels like home away from home.

Great place to get away from the world. Rustic cabins with full kitchens bathrooms and heat. Amazing to have high speed internet avaliable in the cabin! Amazing nature, loons, eagles, owls so much more. And Amazing fishing. Dont forget to take in the evening, great stars and wildlife. Thanks Andy for the great hospitality and boat rentals and advice. We will definitely be back.

Great place, great staff, great lake! A great place for anyone, or whole family, to get away, enjoy nature and TRULY relax.

The owner, Andy, works relentlessly to accommodate even the slightest needs, making the stay effortless. With great boat, canoe, and kayak rentals, and wonderful rustic camps, any family like ours will make this stay a tradition.

The nights are beautiful and mesmerizing. I have never been to a place like this. They have two lovely dogs, Emma and Rosy. The lakeside is equiped with canoes and speed boats. I went with my friends and we enjoyed our nights outside with bonfire and barbeque. Totally worth a visit!

This place is amazing! It's exactly what me and the kids needed! Andy and Kristen are amazing people ensuring our stay was effortless and worry free. WE WILL BE BACK!

Nice and quiet

Spruce Lodge is a great place for family vacation. Good idea for escaping from big cities to that quiet place. The cabins need updates, but they are actually clean. The price is not bad. The lake is beautiful and huge in the front of cabins.
