Ruggles House Historic Home Museum

We loved our tour! The architecture and history of the Ruggles house make this worth a visit. Our tour guide, Roberta, was so elegant, knowledgeable, and engaging.

Historic home painstakingly renovated with many original furniture pieces and artwork. Excellent example of Adams arcitechural detail. Pleasant and knowledgeable guide. A much enjoyed stop on the way to a colors tour.

Great place from a historic point of view

Good tour, lovely well-kept Colonial house. Would have liked a more complete discussion of the use by the family of servants in the rear of the house. It was clear that servants were used, but it was barely admitted by, and not discussed by, the docent giving the tour. In spite of that, well worth the drive and the $5 per person admission fee.
