the water park is currently still down.... But the service was beyond exceptional, Vinny and I didn't catch the other guys name were friendly and personable. I got 2 rooms and they were both very clean and did not smell weird.. soap stocked with clean WHITE towels.... Lobby is beautiful! Breakfast was one of the best I have had at a hotel and we travel a lot!!! Would definitely recommend a stay.. water park I was told should be done with upgrades by end of summer so it's only getting better...

Rooms are spectacular and very comfy. Bathroom was very large and very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly.. the the water park was awesome as well

The Fairfield Watervliet St.Joseph is a very nice place. Rooms are very clean and seems to be new. Good hot or cold breakfast options and the staff is so sweet and very helpful. They really do care about your stay and how everything was, which it was all 5 stars for us. Prices are very reasonable. This is probably the cleanest hotel we've stayed in a long time. Very roomy as well. Nice bathrooms, have a bar out by breakfast area, hot coffee all hours, and snack to purchase. Recommend staying here. You will enjoy your stay.

Excellent establiment. The staff went above and beyond to help the entire wedding party feel welcome. Beds were like brand new. The small bar was well stocked with good beer, and alcohol. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding.
I believe the manager on duty was Brian, and he made the stay worth 5 stars.

Very clean. Easy check in. I come here a lot as my daughter lives near by. They finally have there hot breakfast back! Really really good breakfast which is always a plus for me when booking a hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Clean room & very helpful staff. Our family had our car break down close to the hotel. Luckily, we got a clean room that night at Fairfield Watervliet St.Joseph. In the morning, we tried to catch a flight back home but couldn’t find any taxi or Uber ride in this small town. With help from staff at the hotel and the manager, I finally got to the airport in time. Lorena was very kind, offering us an hour-long ride to the car rental center free of charge. Thank you so much Lorena. We really appreciated.

Excellent staff! The girl at the front desk was extremely helpful and very friendly! The rooms we spotless. Wide variety of food for breakfast, even had vegetarian option. Water park wasn’t open but they still allowed the kids to play on the kids toy, so the only think not available was the big slides. The water was warm, hot tub was awesome! Very clean and my kids loved it! Definitely would stay here again. Highly impressed with this hotel!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The attached waterpark was small but perfect for our family. The water was a great temperature (the lazy river was a bit cooler than the rest but not unbearable). All in all it was a really nice hotel to mix up the norm, when traveling with kiddos :)

Great hotel, especially for the price!

I stayed at this hotel with my family during an unplanned stop on our journey through Michigan. It was easy to get a room late at night, on short notice. The room included two queen beds and plenty of room around the beds for suitcases. (It's little things like that which really make a room great.)

We tried to set the temperature using the wall thermostat, and noticed that the A.C. unit wasn't coming on. The staff were very helpful, and switched us to a room right away, even though it turned out it was just an automated system, and it was working just fine.

The beds were comfortable, the shower was plenty warm, and the continental breakfast was so much better than most. They even have a small water park, if you have the time. Thanks for a great stay, Fairfield Inn & Suites!

Housekeeping Services were very friendly and helpful. Front desk was very polite and took care of on minor problem promptly. Rooms were large and beds comfortable. Bathrooms were just the right size. AC worked great. Super good coffee in lobby. Will return without a doubt.

My family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights as part of a wedding weekend for family. This review is for the hotel only, not the Surfari Joe's Water Park portion. The rooms were very nice and looked fairly updated. The hot breakfast in the mornings was very nice. Waffles (plenty of machines so you never waited), sausage, eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, breads, bagels, oatmeal etc. The staff was incredible. Every interaction with them was amazing. They went out of their way to be nice to my young children and help us with anything. Amanda, Lori, Shana, and Cindy were particularly impressive.

This hotel has a great breakfast with lots of healthy options. I was really impressed with the fresh cut pineapple, eggs, turkey sausage, yogurt and more. The kids loved the water park area and we loved the price! Definitely one of the better hotels we've booked.

We stayed here last night and loved it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room is clean and comfortable, comparable to a Holiday Inn, etc. The indoor water park is fun. It is a little small but it is still fun, especially for kids under maybe about 11. My son is 7 and the two big slides were too much for him still at this age. He loves the lazy river and the smaller kid's area that also has a decent tube slide. The main water area with the river is warm. Kid's area is a bit cooler but understandable since the water is very shallow. Hot tub for adults only is nice and hot. I guess they had an issue with frozen pipes a couple weeks ago but that is fixed now. There was plenty of staff at the cafe' and my son had fun at the game room. If you plan coming here knowing the water park is not huge then you should not be disappointed. I was impressed with how helpful the staff were.

I have to laugh at some of these bad reviews like OMG there is a line for breakfast on Saturday at 8AM, God forbid you need to practice a bit of patience and manners in waiting your turn!! Breakfast was fine, typical for a hotel breakfast. Plenty of choices to give you a good breakfast. And the lines took us all of about three minutes. Luckily we did not starve to death!!

This hotel is a hidden Oasis in a land of no other accommodations. They could easily be fair to average and get away with it being the only hotel nearby but they surpassed my expectations. The Staff was welcoming and friendly, the hotel, lobby, and room was clean and well kept, and the bed was pleasantly comfortable with no sore back in the morning.

Had a great experience - clean hotel, great breakfast and kids loved the adjoining waterpark. A note for some - we weren't sure but the pool in the water park is open outside of the hours just no lifeguard on duty so you have to watch your own kids. Was nice because it wasn't as busy on Saturday morning prior to the park opening at 11 am so our 7,6 and 4 year olds had a blast on the lazy river and the small zero depth area with two small slides. Will likely be back!

Vinny is a wonderful host and manager and makes sure he has all of his guests well taken care of. I highly recommend

The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly. The Waterpark is OK. I see people complaining about it, but if you are used to something like Wisconsin Dells, you will be disappointed because it is small, but for a night or two it is just fine. The breakfast was okay, the reviews here are correct in that the scrambled eggs are terrible. In my opinion The taste is like the smell of a cat litter box, obviously powdered fake eggs. But, the sausage the oatmeal and the make your own waffles were great.

The motel was clean but a little outdated. The staff was very helpful. The layout of the breakfast buffet needs to be changed. The waffle makers and hot food were crowded into one corner and nobody could get to them.
