Prices aren't bad and their "2 for $X" deals on drinks are usually pretty good. In terms of selection, they have the drink and snack basics you expect from a small convenience store. Their hours are pretty decent, it's nice to have something open late on this side of town. They definitely have the coldest drinks in town. Shell, Dollar General, and Riverside keep their drink coolers so warm that it is not nice or refreshing to grab a bottle of water or soda on a hot day because they are basically room temperature. Southside has ice cold drinks and that counts for a lot.

They live up to their name: truly a convenience store. Won't find exotic items but will find all the commonly found items of a gas station or corner store. Decent liquor and beer selection with prices slightly higher than Riverside and/or Andy's. Also has a section with incense and candles if you're looking for smell goods.

Excellent customer service - I shop there every day and all employees are upbeat and friendly. Prices are reasonable and they keep a good supply of every day items in addition to beer, liquor, tobacco products. Highly recommend!

The people here are mostly friendly, for a brief time there was a pretty rude chick working there but I haven't seen her in a while. Wish the prices were more competitive or at least they didn't charge a fee to run your card, but understand running a small business can be expensive for its owners.

Last time visiting this store. Michigan has 1 in 5 with Covid-19, highest numbers in the US and these store employees (2) on 4-10-2021/12:46pm not masked. Have seen owner with no mask also. Done spending money in a business that doesn't have enough sense to take proper precautions for the community.

Very rude. We stopped in for a snack and they person that day was very unfriendly. Guess they don't like railroad workers. They don't have to worry about our business anymore
